Leatt Launch Magnesium Pedals, Stems and Bar-Grip Combos - Eurobike 2024
A little stubby magnesium stem has superior vibration damping to an aluminium one my arse! In a world where pneumatic tyres exist i don’t think its the stem’s job to do that anyway. The flat pedals look a bit crap too. Like the grips though.

Drone Manufacturer DJI Debuts Light & Powerful eMTB Motor - Eurobike 2024
It does seem a bit bonkers to concentrate on super light and possibly more breakable motors when most potential owners are gonna be from the porky end of the spectrum.. Impressively light though, my ebike is around 27 kilos and i can chuck it around ok though

Deity Celebrates 20 Years & Debuts New Products
I like the look of the supervillains. Tried to find some to buy after seeing them on the internet a few weeks ago but i musta been too keen and early. Bought some podiums instead but will keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on some silver supervillains

Review: Wolf Tooth Components Ripsaw Aluminum Flat Pedals
Those look wrong in sooo many ways. I know there’s some weird deviants out there who like a convex pedal but that one looks like it tilts your foot off the side too. Just getting stuck into my newly acquired praxis podiums. Now there’s a good pedal!

7 Dogs from the Cam Zink Invitational Including Crusty the Freeride Super Dog
That statement about training being necessary i’m unsure about.. my old dog, a kind of collie whom mant australians said was an australian collie had an almost psychic ability to not go in the wrong place and be where she ought to be had zero training and had previously spent her formative years on the east london squat party scene My recently acquired 11 month old kelpie on the other hand has an annoying habit of taking short cuts and waiting in the way or worse still loitering in landing spots. Still very much a pup as opposed to the previous mutt who was about 4 when we started hanging out & riding together.

Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
Stem spacers, downward pointing stem and riser bar…. What is wrong with people? I use 70 and 90mm rise on my 2 mountain bikes just because head tubes are stupidly short on larger sizes. I notice all the shorties get the pleasure of grips a few inches above max dropper height, it feels better that way. I like the higher rise bars cos you can adjust bach & forth without changing upsweep & backsweep too drastically.
