@DaveRobinson81: yeah i think you can get all sorts of flexible panels that’ll bend over curves too. For a wet and cloudy place like uk with plenty of rivers and streams some kind of propeller on a shaft generator could be cool too.

And well done hope, i’ve often wondered why they dont use something akin to large chainring bolts to hold the rotor together so i dont have to chuck my colour coordinated spider away once the braking surface is worn

I’ve always thought powered trailers were a good way to go. Would love a self propelled old school gypsy bowtop type thing to tow behind me on deluxe touring adventures.

I have some praxis podiums. I thought the threaded 4mm pins weren’t nearly as grippy as 3mm ones i had on previous pedals so sharpened them to a 1mm taper. Well worth it i’d say!

In my opinion theres no better shaped bars than the very un-blingy bucklos BRL 90. 90mm rise and a 13 degree backsweep. Stiff n heavy but they sure ain’t gonna snap
