Video: Back to Back Laps on a 2002 DH Bike & A Modern DH Bike at Mount Prevost
Unfair comparison as the 2024 Transitions was ready to rip but the 2002 Norco needs a tuneup.
The front fork cannot travel its full range, needs adjustment;
the tires are old, need newer rubber - if need be put on old new rubber from the era;
the noises coming from the bike can be mitigated with small adjustments.

7 Weird & Wonderful Bikes From the Pinkbike BuySell
Have one, it's a Campagnolo bottle. Campy made 3 different versions of these aerodynamic bottles. Very expensive on eBay. The lid on those is very hard to open, so would make a terrible urinal.

Isabeau Courdurier Announces She Will Take a Break in 2025
Fans meet stars and because the star is friendly the star is liked. Can a star have an asshole personality, which you meet and dislike, but their riding is so awesome you still like them?

5 Cyclist Attacked By Cougar Near Fall City, Washington
@barp: Officer most likely shot and killed the cougar. He was not attacked by it. No need to use language to make the cougar just a thing. Easier to kill a thing than a cougar.

5 Cyclist Attacked By Cougar Near Fall City, Washington
Washington State Fish and Wildlife Police Officer first calls the cougar a thing, then a lion. Calling something a thing is to dehumanise the enemy. Just imagine what soldiers calls their enemies in war. A thing feels nothing and is only valuable as thing for your use. The officer dehumanises the animal which was obviously hunting. Did it make a mistake choosing to hunt a human within a group of other humans? Obviously yes. Also, the cougar at 75 pounds does not qualify to be called a Lion. Yes, cougars are sometimes called mountain-lions. But at 75 pounds the cat does not conjure up an image of a beast at the top of the food chain. Had the officer used the correct terminology, calling it a mountain lion, I would have no problem with that. He was trying to paint a picture of bravery by calling a 75 pound cat a LION. They fought and detained a LION. I really find the officer's viewpoint to be inaccurate, biased and worrying for other animals in his care.
I have seen a wild cat out mountain biking. I stopped, and we stared at each other for a long time. It was a privilege to have experienced this. I love animals. I hope this officer also loves animals, but I doubt it.
