@GravityCandy:
Gotcha. Based on trailforks comments, hitman is "abandoned" or not maintained anymore.
Will try and check out those suggestions! Thanks.
Its raining a lot this weekend... any trails here in particular that handle wet riding the best?

Pinkbike Poll: What Flat Tire Fixes Work For You?
Game-changer tire repair is automotive sized tire plugs & gorilla tape. We have been able to fix 1"+ sidewall slices on the trail in just a few minutes. I have done this for a friend who sliced his brand new tire badly, and he finished off the tire without having to touch the repair! I have yet to see one of these repairs fail in the 10 or so we have done like this.
MTB tires are generally too thin and flexible for plugs alone to seal them, but the tape keeps pressure on the plug and the sealant will do the rest. Wrap the tape all the way around the repair, over the knobs, around the rim, a few times and it will be solid. The tape will wear thru where the knobs are, but hold strong in between. It may not look pretty but it works!

9point8's New iNVRS System Moves the Pins to Your Shoes & the Rubber to Your Pedals
Does anybody here actually ride in the winter? I've been wanting to make my own version for years.
Maybe a bit of a niche product, but personally I think this is a great idea. I already have studded my shoes for winter (with dirt bike carbides that have about an 8mm prominence), for hike a biking, dabs or when you hit deep snow and have to walk a bit... or riding steep frozen creeks and waterfalls, I can safely walk on steep ice and snow when I need to. Regular five tens have terrible grip on snow and ice.
Right now I've traced out my pedal location on the shoes and put the studs in to avoid the pedals. Works incredibly well so far, but when hiking and walking the ball of your foot is where most of the traction is. So, with rubber pedals I could add more studs to that area, and not have the weird feeling of metal on metal when getting on the pedals.
This product definitely has a use.

Thanks man, I definitely had the most amazing time exploring in the desert! The views, weather and gnarly riding were all top notch.
There are tons of shuttleable trails around. Bootleg Canyon is one of the main DH centers near Vegas and DH Mike runs shuttles 10-4 every weekend. You can pay on site $30 for up to 6 laps, which is great. Look up Bootleg Canyon Gravity Racing. Lots of other shuttle options everywhere if you have some buddies, and there were some other services around the St George area as well for hire.
Around Vegas are definitely some world class trails! But depending how much time you have Utah and Arizona have a ton of stuff as well. I wanted to hit Arizona, but "only" had 9 days of riding. Next trip I'll be looking to check there too.
