For sale is my beloved RAAW Madonna V2 frame, size L, frame colour raw aluminium with a Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate Rear Shock (2 or 3 spare springs) and a Chris King Headset. Only reason for sale is I’ve bought the Yalla! and already have the Jibb, can’t justify keeping the Madonna sadly! Good bits: The frame uses RAAW’s rocker 60 however is fitted with a 65mm stroke shock to generate 172mm of rear travel. This is something Paul Aston did in his Pinkbike review of the Madonna V1: https://m.pinkbike.com/news/review-raaw-madonna.html. It’s an extra 12mm of travel for no weight penalty and makes the ride closer to mini DH bike that can still pedal back up just as well. If you want, it’s easy to change the stroke to 60mm if 160mm travel is preferred. I personally see no downside to the extra travel as the eye to eye length of the shock is identical so the geometry is unchanged. The Chris King Headset performs like new, these bearings just never wear out from my experience and are well worth the extra cash. The shock was serviced less than a year ago and performs perfectly, it also comes with 2 (maybe 3) spare springs (500lb fitted) one lighter, one heavier (need to double check weights of spare springs). I also have a Sprindex Coil 390-430lb available to buy as an extra if the buyer is interested. The frame bearings were changed at the same time the shock was serviced. For those that don’t know, RAAW’s bearings can easily last two years of hard riding in bad conditions and still run smoothly, this is mainly due to their oversized diameter and the extra gasket seal caps keep the mud and water out. Bad bits: As you will see from the pictures, there’s a lot of cosmetic scuffs, hence the price of the frame is on the more reasonable end. The wear marks on the rocker were from fitting a Wolftooth bag to the mounts just above the rocker under the top tube followed by riding in the wet… nightmare! Had I decided to keep the frame I was going to get this vapour blasted and anodised black (quite an affordable option and gives a nice hardwearing finish). The chain slap protector is a bit loose and could do with some extra mastic tape to stick it back to the chainstay (still works as intended though). All other scuffs should be visible in the pictures. There is clear frame protection in all the major areas as shown in pictures so many of the visible marks are actually in the plastic protective layer. I have a bike frame box so I’m happy to post at the buyers expense. I would use Paisley Freight’s bike service which is very reliable and normally about £25 for a collection and drop off service. For sale is my Fox Factory Transfer Dropper Post 175mm 31.6mm diameter inc lever. Has been used sporadically since July 2019 and is in mint condition and perfect working order. I also have the original box which I can ship it in. Reason for sale is I’d like a post with at least a 210mm drop to cater for my out of proportion legs.
