Lama Cycles, the Canadian distributor for NS Bikes, Morewood Bikes, Industry Nine, Kali Protectives, Straitline Components, Octane One, Formula Brakes and Nema International is proud to announce its official DH team for 2012. For a sixth year in a row, the Lama Cycles team will take part in the Quebec Cup events and the Canada Cup events. Throughout the 2012 season, the team will be training for these events on their Morewood Makulu Bikes at the local DH hill, Bromont.

We have a thriving distribution company and a driven team with excellent athletes, dedicated sponsors and supporting followers. The two go hand in hand since the team has always been used as a marketing platform for the products we import and distribute. With the help of our numerous sponsors we’ve managed to present to Canadian racers, riders and fans the products we place our trust in, believe in and would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat. That’s the company’s main motto: We sell and promote products we personally use, ride and prefer.

The team's main goal is to offer the best possible exposure for its athletes and to further their recognition and reputations on the provincial and national cycling scene. Following that train of thought, we have a five racer’ team split between many categories.

For a fourth year in a row, our beloved team mechanic, Alexandre Ouellet, will make sure the team bikes will run flawlessly throughout the season. Needless to say, his mechanic and racing experience will also benefit our fellow racer since he helped countless numbers of them stuck with last minute problems throughout the years.
