This year the team managers put a lot of time and effort into putting together this stunning bike.

bigquotesEach year, we try to do something different in terms of look, but most importantly we pick and choose every single part we want to race to get the lightest bike possible without compromising the strength, durability and riding experience. Simply put, we built an awesome looking bike under 37 pounds that will hold up to the most demanding racing conditions. - Benoit LaBelle - Lama Cycles Team Manager

LAMA CYCLES TEAM

We have a thriving distribution company and a driven team with excellent athletes, dedicated sponsors and supporting followers. The two go hand in hand since the team has always been used as a marketing platform for the products we import and distribute. With the help of our numerous sponsors we’ve managed to present to Canadian racers, riders and fans the products we place our trust in, believe in and would recommend to anybody in a heartbeat. That’s the company’s main motto: We sell and promote products we personally use, ride and prefer.

2012 LAMA CYCLES TEAM

The team's main goal is to offer the best possible exposure for its athletes and to further their recognition and reputations on the provincial and national cycling scene. Following that train of thought, we have a five racer’ team split between many categories.

2012 LAMA CYCLES TEAM
For a fourth year in a row, our beloved team mechanic, Alexandre Ouellet, will make sure the team bikes will run flawlessly throughout the season. Needless to say, his mechanic and racing experience will also benefit our fellow racer since he helped countless numbers of them stuck with last minute problems throughout the years.

Gab Distilio
Most of our team pictures will be taken by our good friend Gabriel Distilio.

This success is only possible with the best products, riders and support out there. We would like to welcome our new sponsors to the Lama Cycles team for 2012 and thank the continuing ones for their commitment to the program.

In addition to Lama Cycles distribution co. and Morewood Bikes, the Lama Cycles team is sponsored by Industry Nine, Formula Brakes, Nema International, Straitline Components, Kali Protectives, Manitou, Maxxis Tires, GOPRO, Five Ten, Spy Optic, ODI, SDG, SkiBromont.com, Finish Line, Sport Beans, OGIO, THULE, Camp of Champion and NSK.

Ive been seeing pics of this team uploaded for a while now, awesome little write up. When I was looking at building a DH bike about a year ago, this is pretty much the setup I had in mind. Sick to see an entire team riding them!

'''This year the team managers put a lot of time and effort into putting together this stunning bike...''...beside the different color scheme, what's the difference with last year's bike ???...awesome sled !!!

Well, we changed the cranks (XO instead of saints, the rims are EN instead of DH, the sticker kit has a different design, the db air...

But yes you are right, last year setup was already awesome so it is difficult to get it better...

Cheers!

I like the aesthetics of the two red spokes on the wheelbuild on the first bike, and the fact that it also functions to help you quickly find the tire valve. Awesome.
