32" Wheels Aren't Going to Save the Bike Industry

When we were in the 29/plus/27.5 time 2015-2020 being a consumer was horrendous and we can clearly see what the plan is here. Sure, there might be some advantages but more than anything it's just more cost to the consumer in an already tapped out market. Look at road for example. Same wheels forever and the only real change was disc brakes but you can still rock rims if you want as their are plenty of parts around.

[UPDATED] Shimano Exits Eurobike 2026 as Troubles Continue for Trade Show

I work in another sport related industry and I was just saying I give it 2 years until we are not doing trade shows anymore. Pre-covid you could barely walk around due to how many people there were and now.. ghost town with only a few vendors keeping things alive.

@Mouette230: back in the day lake placid was a legit race track. Classic east coast terrain. Could have a classic vibe, I’m sure we will get fast open full speed tuck fire road.
