50mm carbon tubular rims, DT 240 11 speed road hubs

$600 USD
Chinese carbon tubular rims laced to DT 240 road hubs, with 11 speed freehub body. I'm too lazy to remove the tire from the rear wheel, so you'd get lightly used Vittoria Pave 700x25mm (green/black) tubular with valve extender as part of the bargain. I have another 700x24mm (twenty four) Vittoria Pave that I could glue up or include in the package for another $35. That one has never been ridden. Front wheel is 24 hole, radially laced with DT Revolution spokes (2.0-1.5-2.0mm). The rear wheel is 24 hole, 2x laced with DT Competition spokes (2.0-1.8-2.0mm). Rims themselves are in very good condition. For whatever reason, the factory I bought them from used a black paint instead of clear coat on the sides, as the pictures show. There are no chips in the tire bed, nor any deep scratches anywhere on the rims. There are a few shallow scratches in the black paint on the sides of the rims, as pictured. The hubset alone retains for $450-500.

Carbon Conundrum - Pole Bicycles Ditch Their Plastic Project
Sorry, but the idea that Aluminum is somehow eco-friendly is just laughable to me. Do people understand where aluminum comes from? It comes from bauxite ore, which is usually strip mined from the earth, transported to another continent for smelting, then undergoes one of the more environmentally unfriendly smelting processes out there. The idea that your bike frame is coming from the soda cans you took to the recycling center last week is misguided at best

He's probably faster on a 100mm FS, downhill, than anyone you know.

@fattyheadshok: No offense to your son, but Anton Cooper is a world class athlete, who is better at handling a bike under stress than anyone that has posted here. Not to mention, the XR1s that came on his bike aren't the ones Anton Cooper is riding.

The story is: she has more points than anyone else, thus she is ranked number one. What else would the story entail?

I'm guessing you'd need a 5" FS to hang with them in the woods.

@giantwhip: Pine beetle goes red, then brown, then no needles. That's a pretty clear case of mountain pine beetle.
