Traditional opening weekend takes place from May 9th – 12th!

This Winter was a long one. It’s time to get back on your bike again and shape up for the season. From May 9th onwards, you can jump back on the saddle at Europe’s most renowned bike park. Bikepark Leogang kicks-off with a four-day opening weekend to celebrate the start of the season.

Impatient and winter-sick riders are eager to start the season. Now it is finally about to begin: all bike-enthusiasts, recreational riders, beginners and pros can once again shred the trails at Bikepark Leogang. The park in the heart of the Austrian region Salzburger Land opens its doors on May 9th, and kicks-off its 12th season.

Have you ever been to Saalfelden Leogang? Do you like a smooth ride in a well-shaped bike park? Well, Bikepark Leogang is the right spot for you this summer. The 15 percent opening-discount on bike park passes is a good opportunity for you to inspect everything that it has to offer. Not only can you check out the trails, you can also try the latest models from new bike park partner SCOTT. During the opening weekend all of the well-shaped tracks and trails from the middle station will be ridable. From May 29th, the bike park will open all trails from the top station. Saalfelden Leogang’s head shapers are working hard to assure Bikepark Leogang can offer the top riding conditions its visitors are used to.

Regarding the competitive aspects planned for this year, Bikepark Leogang is heading towards a brilliant season. After last year’s hosting of the UCI Mountainbike & Trials World Championships by Saalfelden Leogang, the bike park plans to keep up the standard for 2013. During the Out of Bounds Festival (from June 20th to 23rd) the world’s best freeriders are coming for the FMB World Tour Gold event, 26TRIX and the Downhill elite for the iXS European Downhill Cup. Towards the end of the season it is all about Downhill and Four cross: The last stop of the UCI Downhill World Cup arrives in Saalfelden Leogang and the new Four cross word champions will be crowned during the UCI Four cross World Championships. Two great events you shouldn’t miss!

 that jump with the mountains in the back ground looks intimidating and inviting all at the same time.

 this jump was only for the world champs. it isn't standing any more. all the other jumps are way smaller!

 Yeah My favourite Park!!!

@t1000: those jumps were only built for the wc, they are smaller within the regular season.
The WC track as it is, is rideable all the time.

 A couple of years ago I was travelling through Europe with the wife. Leogang was the first park to open so I drove from Rome to Leogang just to go riding. Ended up staying 3 days, awesome park!

 Ive travelled to leogang the past two years from Australia. Its an awesome park! Well worth the trip and linking it in with some other tracks in Austria like Schladming!

 Canadian Open & Garbanzo DH >>>>>>> A-Line. I love Leogang WC track, but there's a plenty of that type of track here in BC. Though if I can't stay in BC, I think Leogang will be my pretty regular place to visit Smile
