Intense Launches New Bosch-Powered Tazer eMTB
@jpb1227: Struck a nerve with my overly nice and inclusive comment. My bad! Lol. I guess since you've not seen them, they must not exist right? Plenty of riders of all shapes and sizes on my trials. Have a great weekend.

Thank goodness for Ebikes then! Without them, most in the overweight category wouldn't choose to ride. Now they can get on the right track with fitness, which is required for pedal assist bikes.

eMTB Round-Up: FSA Riva Bike Festival 2026
As it should be. Here in the PB comments, people just don't seem to like smiles on faces that come with eMTB. There's plenty of room for everyone, and nobody has to justify the bike they ride and why. The fact that riding ANY bicycle (that requires pedals to move) puts a smile on your face, should be good enough.

BLM Opens 200 Miles of Trails in Moab to Class 1 E-Bikes
Plenty of "in-shape" riders choose E-bikes as well. There's a time and place for both, but the constant bashing from the "cool guys" is a bit exhausting and predictable as always.

Thought Experiment: Which Has a Higher Environmental Impact, Uplifts or E-Bikes?
@29er1: I was being a bit facetious. I ride both regular and Ebikes. Neither resembles a moped.

Thought Experiment: Which Has a Higher Environmental Impact, Uplifts or E-Bikes?
@chrisclifford: It's the same logic that Trail Abolitionists use to shut down ANY trail they don't want. Riders = erosion, damage, etc. It's just dirt that's been moved a bit. Sorry, but more riders = more advocates = better lives for all involved.

Been riding for 20 years, never, ever seen a MOPED on a trail.

Thought Experiment: Which Has a Higher Environmental Impact, Uplifts or E-Bikes?
@mm2344: There's no reason why Ebikes (the pedal ones) should have any sort of negative impact on trail access other than old school haters trying to keep trails to themselves and their "crew." Sorry but the truth (sad or not) is that MTB manufactures are staying alive with Ebike sales, and the advocacy that will (and already does) come with Ebike riders is only a good thing. Personally, I only see Ebike hate as hate...same as other types of unfounded, misplaced, and unnecessary hate. I'm only talking about PEDAL Ebikes...not the ones with throttles....that's a whole different story

All I see are riders on Ebikes having a great time while climbing 10mph faster than I do on my REGULAR bike. I particularly like when it's a father enjoying riding with his son. Before Ebikes, a lot of them couldn't ride. How in the world is that depressing?
