Kali’s New Kru Full Face Helmet Has a Titanium Chin Bar, & It Looks... Different
Love the concept and the execution on the chinbar. The helmet looks a bit like orthopedic shoes however. Hopefully Kali or another manufacturer can come up with an overall design that looks good.

@nilswalk: Try a chainless descent and see how well the suspension works. Multiply that by at least 2 by deleting about 2 lb. of unsprung mass for the casseete and derailleur. Bikes with eCVT and a belt drive will have insane suspension perfomance relative to what we have now.

Aesthetics in people are an evolutionary imperative which indicate health, virility, survivability, etc., so we are hard coded to make inferences about everything by how things look. So it's hardly a "shallow" perspective; it's at the core of human nature.

@Marquis: You guys are context free. The company is based in Marin County, CA and Solstice is one of the best known local DH trails.

Why they named this bike after the Solstice trail is perplexing. Solstice is a full on DH trail with gnar and features- this bike would be complete toast there.

@suspended-flesh: The inside diameter of the Deity bar steps down to a smaller diameter some distance from the end so the plug won't fit in. I tried to MacGyver the plug shim and ended up trashing it.

I got some but after buying discovered they don't work with Deity bars. Grrrr.
