The Pinkbike Racing Podcast: Episode 3 - The Fort William World Cup Post-Race Wrap-Up
If yr a Beta subscriber then yr paying for the team & cast the way its set up now and would apparently have to subscribe to keep getting the pod (if the stick with that plan). I'm not - have too many subscriptions now, don't need more - but I'd personally rather just help pay for racing & the pod straight up vs. having to subscribe to Beta to help out. Haven't even checked Beta out and all I hear is endless grievance and whining about it here (boo fucking hoo, so sad) but it seems the percent PB Racing could raise even if all of us subscribed to Beta would be petty vs. what we could fundraise for the team for the hell of it. Thoughts? Just thinking out loud...

Forgot to say that the Jr riders (sorry, names not off toppa my head) did pretty damn well too. Seriously, PB ramped it up - not bad at all for the Right Amount of Stupid.

Seems pretty major that Henry's the mechanic & Ben's the main rider for PB and got what, 24th at the 2nd WC race - and out of retirement too. Higher placement than a lotta riders from super-slush fund teams. That's effin' stellar homies. Congrats - and by all means lobby PB to keep the podcast under the PB podcast. Keep in mind lots of us would kick down cold hard cash on this team if asked to. I'd think more of us (esp the hardcore Beta-Zeta's) would kick in even a few bucks, kickstarter style, to keep you guys in coffees, goo, fuel, chamois's (chamoi?), etc. Lots of creative ways this could be done for extra racing money.

Final Results from the Fort William DH World Cup 2022
I'm assuming the juniors course was the same as mens/womens, so reading those results for mens, Jordan Wms & Jackson G would've placed 4 & 6th respectively. Or... did they have different tracks? Since Redbull doesn't even bother showing maybe the top 3-5 men/wom's junior races, I dunno. No clue why these guys don't even get 10-15 mins total coverage in the main program. They're obviousy all shredders.

Slack Randoms: World Cup Speeding Fines, Aaron Gwin's House Tour, Jet Pack Mountain Rescues & More
@hamncheez Ivermectin was invented 1st and SPECIFICALLY for animals / livestock - not humans - and was later approved for human use for similar uses (including lice, parasites, some skin infects. etc) - that's not the issue. The issue is morons with zero med-science training or skill latching onto this (or any) med and claiming it should be used for covid when zero science / lit / study even existed about that in the med community that would suggest it works on respiratory virus and then various US russian state-news types blaring that its a "conspiracy" that drugs like this aren't being used to treat covid. That's the joke. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivermectin

@Caligula1620: Ivermectin was invented as heartworm / parasite meds SPECIFICALLY for animals / livestock before being approved for human use for similar uses (including lice, etc). It is primarily used on horses today. I didn't say it shouldn't be used for lice, parasites etc - it simply has no basis for being used with covid, the med-community has found zero evidence that it works for that (it doesn't) and Dr. Oz saying you should guzzle it has zero meanting vs. actual science. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivermectin And who said anything about me patting my own ass and being "bright" about it - clearly parasitism is the key word in your comments here: zero logic, sniping, bitching, zero facts and 1000% hyperbole.

Video: Red Bull Formation Highlights & Full Runs 2022
Same with Redbull though: watch gamers all day / every day and even live but a womens freeride event - pppppppffffffftttzzzzzzzzzz. Nah...we can't make a video of that later.. It's nothing but short clips. I'm a broken record here, but surely there's footage enough over the course of the event to do up a 2-hr post-event video of the whole thing...or does Redbull really not actually give a shit about womens events? I'm being facetious b/c they do cover womens' XC, DH, slope and other sports - so I don't understand why the ovaries-of-steel women here just get clips all around various media and/or Redbull and not a whole program summarizing the whole event we can kick back & glorify in.

@chokoma: Maybe here w/ Beta / Outside coverage but Redbull surely has enough vid-footage to cover a couple of post-event film for fans to watch later at some point...or rather, why wouldn't they? Is a baller women's event like this less interesting that watching teenagers play games on Redbull 24/7? In light of that - and not even giving a 2 hr summary of Formation (think about it: surely there's footage of the whole thing from arrival, greetings, building, general hijinx, practice, actual rides, behind the scenes - whatever) - the fact that you can watch morons play video games on RB all day long any day (and even live) is pretty insulting compared to actual talented athletes not getting covered...and because why? Kinda makes it look like they don't care about women but "gamers" are something special.

@owl-X: Anytime I think I'm making too much sense to myself and wondering why something isn't happening I usually just need to STFU and chill. Still...does make me wonder why a docu-version of this (even in a few weeks, whatever) doesn't seem to be on the radar. They promote the event but only give us clips...surely the footage is there. Hell - I'm gonna write a letter!

@owl-X: I woulldn't even call it optimism. Hell, I come back from a 3-5 day bikepartk trip and each of my buds have 1.5-2 hrs of gopro edits done up & linked to from the drive up & back, effin' around at house, riding, drinking & being idiots. Just saying the raw footage is there (I'd bet there's even over 100 hours, all sources combined) and putting up a non-live / docu-style video seems like it wouldn't be a stretch considering how many resources are already going into the event - which is a lot. I'm just saying that with all the categories redbull publishes - including vid-gaming, which is as exciting as watching chess or ping-pong - that they easily have bandwidth, funds, and there's obvious interest even as (or especially as) a post-event documentary (or series, whatever) anyone can kick back with... seems like a gimme.
