@jpb1227: q my precise and exact conclusion as well – I have DD 80 mills on YT Capra, a GT fury and a marine Alpine E... a they all feel way more amazing now and fun. In the end, we're all just looking for a bike that feels amazing and is fun as hell and this has been one of the most major additions for me to get there

High bar rattling here - a comment was made that high-rise bars aren't necessary but this is greatly rider body-proportion dependent Some riders will DEF'LY benefit from a 75 or 80mm bar if you are tall AND have a very long torso. This is something few likely consider but, for example one of my ride buds and I are the same height - 6'4'' but my torso is 6 inches longer than his. I can wear 33 or 34 inch inseam pants but his are like 36/38 - and standing side by side you can visually see that my friends hips are way higher than mine but sitting down I an nearly 6 inches taller - and with longer arms. So a high bar for him is useless whereas for me its a life-saver and has stopped my back / wrist and other pain cold and made uphill riding finally comfortable (took 30 years to figure that out). Everyone's has different proportions and you have to account for this. More so, if you've never tried changing bar height, just try it out. Bum a bar & play around or look for a used one on buy/sell or from friends b/c you can say something works but you actually don't know if you haven't experimented. I have even tried going back to 35 and 50mm bars... def feels too low. Only you know what feels right, but unless you're trying out different things - you can be missing out on some great mods that can help in a major way

@downtimepodcast: I'm one of your patreon members and I've already made this suggestion to you personally, so this is not a bash and nothing I've not personally stated to you before But it's still annoying and unlistenable. Its your pod and I love it (except for unlistenable garble despite their knowledge). I just move on - doesn't mean I have to change pods, just means I have my views on it too and literally none of my buds can stand fillers either so its goes unlistened by a crew that might otherwise listen

What kind of bike gear that do you own that doesn't cost anything anyway? Employees at bike brands like Diety and Revel, Crankbros even bigger brands have to pay bills. I will scrounge a deal with the best of them, but if you want good quality products or events – it cost a little bit of money. Freeloaders are a drain

Did you check out timed runs at all before submitting? Granted that's not at all the best tool but it's a pretty good tool though even then some of those riders don't quali at all Better luck next time my man!
