Trail Bike Medals, Canadians On Top & More Things We Learned From the Pietra Ligure Enduro World Cup 2023
@ocnlogan: just read the welcome to velo post via the outside article link, don't actually see Levy mentioned. I hope he still does stuff here and there. If not, then I hope they make him ride e-road and e-gravel bikes.

Myriam Nicole to Miss Upcoming World Cups Due to Concussion
Hard to say if it was always like this, or we just heard less about injuries in the off season before, or there were actually fewer injuries before.
Playing the fantasy team games, the last 2-4 years have been all about knowing who is injured or not, and it definitely feels like a large section of the top riders are out of action at any given moment...

Must Watch: Brandon Semenuk's Fools Gold
Especially ironic as everyone loves his one shot segment from a few years back...
I still love this one, the annoying editing was before and in between the riding at least!

Video: The Commencal Meta Power Now Available With Bosch Motor
My 2018 one came equipped way better than the entry level 2023 for €4500!
Domain and SX on a 6k aluminium bike is pretty weak, there definitely better value out there even now.
Great looking and sorted geo though.

First Ride: Canyon's New Torque:On
After spending my lunch break thinking about this, I now like the design concept but not the execution: The bottle should be a normal (or thinner) cylinder that mounts to a normal bottle cage on top of the down tube, but there would be a hole in the top tube to slot it in and pull it out.
You could even have a longer narrow bottle up to 700ml that would stick out through the top tube on the top of the line model Erect:on.
If they don't patent the concept, Giant could also use it on their Glory Hole model.

Wait, you are telling an engineer got paid to design this bike? Good to know every industry in phoning it in the last few years...

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Which Saddles Pinkbike's Editors Put on Their Own Bikes
@Cheddar420: some brands are terrible for this, I have a TLD one that is basically very slow castrator...
I bought another set of cheap Endura chamois, they come in 2 packs for around €30 and have a very minimal cushion. Very comfortable and discrete.

First Look: 2023 Specialized Epic World Cup
@Quantzer: a beautiful autocorrect mistake as it fits so well: The "tourist route" is a term used to describe an inefficient but pretty way to get to a destination.

Video: Enduro-Packing the 2023 World Cups with Matthew Fairbrother - Round 2
@matthewfmtb: That's amazing, but as others have said, this type of content doesn't really need to come out the day after the race. It is important for some other riders and teams as they are putting out pure race footage and are competing for views with plenty of others.
It might even make sense to release these in the lead up to the following race to get people thinking "damn, I wonder where that kid is right now and will he make it to this round?".
