First Look: Nukeproof ARD Tire Inserts
I use huck norris in the rear wheel of my bikes, it was working perfect, but i didnt puncture much before using it anyway. Then I read a review/comparison of cores on another site which essentially said huck norris was useless, so I took it out. Went to a bike park and punctured 3 times that day. Won't ride without an inner core now :) Also, I originally put them in my tyres when I cracked 2 carbon rims without puncturing, I think this is the main benefit of inner cores.

6 Things We Learned at EWS Finale Ligure
@bressti: I do agree but that isnt the only reason because some of the top french guys (Thirion, Clementz, Absalon, Lau) come from a much muddier region up north, and the current best (Pierron and Oton) are closer to the Pyrenees. Obviously, riding with fast riders helps you improve, so when the faster rider is Nico V. or Fabien B. that helps. It is important to understand that Vouilloz, Barel, Nicolai, Cure, Tordo, Dailly, and stretching it a little Bruni and Vergier could all go on a sunday cycle together without needing to drive to a meeting spot, they are all practically neighbours... I think a huge factor is that on average the French enjoy a lot of racing sports: rally driving, skiing, motorbikes... These all have a huge following and community, many mountain bikers are also involved in these sports or communities. So generally there is a huge community, funding and race series for sports like these, it isn't as grassroots as in other countries.

Review: Mondraker Foxy Carbon XR 29
As a current Commencal and YT owner, I have to say I know a local shop doing great deals on Mondrakers where they don't seem that poorly priced with respect to the competition (in europe). I often get a bit angry at "premium" brands which I feel are often unproven or overly gimmicky yet have starting prices of 5k for poorly equipped bikes, but the premium you pay for a mondraker could be worth it: they were/are ahead of the curve on geometry, their suspension is apparently among the best (if not the best), and they just look amazing.

@Aqui: No, word for word he "literally" said: "Come on the blues, garbage, come out to see us, it's going to shit a bit!" French isn't as romantic a language as people make it out to be.

Good Month / Bad Month: June 2018
There has been a bunch of discussion on pads, but just to be clear: Dailly broke his radius head by putting his arms out in front of him and his elbow tried to bend the wrong way, not from any impact. So in this particular case elbows pads wouldnt have helped, but i'm not saying dont wear pads...
