Video: Jesse Melamed is So Damn Fast
Great video! Best of luck for the race season, no injuries = more podiums. One of the nicest clean/light styles on the bike in the EWS.

YT Officially Launches the Tues 29
Those weights are bonkers either way, the smallest bike is the same size as an L Capra 29er (going by reach), which probably weighs the same as the Tues given identical tyres...

Review: Roval Traverse Carbon Wheels
A lot of negative comments :/ I had the older version of these wheels on my enduro 29, races enduro and rode park for 3 years with barely an issue, replaced the spokes eventually but rim has the strongest I've owned. Easily my favourite wheelset I've owned. Been pretty disappointed with spank and custom light bicycle builds...

First Ride: The New Canyon Strive
@pperini: Yes, nothing makes sense... It is like Canyon heard the "cheap, light, strong, choose 2" saying and promptly decided, "no you get none of the above" If you like the geometry, then buy the equivalent spectral, which is 1kg lighter for the same price and better specced, geometry is almost identical. If you want a 29er enduro bike, buy a YT capra alu bike, similar specs are 1k cheaper, 500g lighter (wtf), and it has more aggressive geometry.

Video: Fairclough, Lucas, Payet & Cabirou on Scott DH Factory Team
@GatoGordo: Lucas and Payet both have 2 podiums in the last 3 years. Brendan will be in every single slideshow and race recap video, he was the most talked about rider at rampage by quite some margin. The world cup is returning to Maribor this year so Brendan could be in the running again.

Lawsuit Claims Search & Rescue Delays Contributed to Mountain Biker's Death
Horrible story all around. Just a reminder that whatsapp has a share location function that is very fast to get going (i.e. as easy as calling your friend/partner).

Video: Nicholi Rogatkin's 2018 Highlights Edit is Massive
Reminds me a "I, Tonya" and the story of Sura Bonaly in ice skating, they both had way bigger tricks than the competition, triple axles and backflips, but kept getting low scores due to not being graceful enough. When I saw the movie, I thought "that's bullshit, the best tricks should win". Now, at least I see where the debate comes from: you can't deny some of those tricks are video game level and he deserved all his wins, but maybe it's ok to prefer watching some of the other riders ride smoother?

Neko Mulally Has Been Testing a 27.5 / 29 Wheeled Frankenbike
Right, but if you did the same run on exactly the same bike twice you would probably end up with more than 0.4s difference. Slightly changing you braking points, or having the rear wheel drift out a little extra in one turn, or getting on the pedals a little later or less intensely could all easily account for the difference. Which is his point: the bikes feel a little different, but the times are equivalent, so don't lose any sleep over wheelsize...

Field Test: Santa Cruz Bronson
@PeterWojnar: Thanks for the update, if you are still editing these, I'd recommend sticking to the non-POV footage which is great, especially as the rider has great style, but the POV quality is rather poor. A bit more variety to the shots would be nice too, I could be wrong but I think we saw the same 4-5 sections multiple times. (I get that this is a review rather than an edit). Great review format though.
