This photo was taken just above the rim of corrie fee in glen clova. A stiff hike a bike to get over Mayar then descend the kilbo path. I rekon the corrie fee trail would go in descent but it's a steeeep rough 400m decent where at many points a mistake would be unthinkable.

Kona 134DL – Proven All-Mountain Weapon

$1250 GBP
Upgraded is an understatement. Besides the frame, the only part remaining from the original bike is the seatpost clamp. LBS has just replaced headset and BB, bike is packed ready for shipping to a new owner. Genuine Reason for Sale – I have purchased a new rig, next year I am focusing on racing Enduro and developing my skills on aggressive downhill terrain in general. This has been my only bike for nearly two years, owned since new. I have total confidence with the reliability of this machine. With absolutely no mechanical issues in 2500km and 50,000m of full-on riding not one component has let me down, the entire build compliments as a whole unit with proof of the all-round capability, I have a trophy-case of notable Strava Rides, Segment Placements, Top-Tens and KoMs to back it up including ; Various day long true all-mountain rides in the Cairngorms, laps on the Fort William WC DH Track, Winter Snow Rides, Autumn Slop Fests, Local Steep Rocky Technical Test-pieces, ‘Enduro’-Style Natural Trails, Trail Centre Single Tracks, XC suffer-fests, not to mention the understated climbing ability and ease of cruising firetrack access ascents. This bike has seen some utterly incredible adventures so there are scratches to the paintwork and scrapes to the frame/chain-stays at the places usually excepted. The frame-set is 100% sound, the only mentionable ‘damage’ is the chain-stay non-drive-side ‘groove’ created by movement of the brake line under compression/release, a notorious problem throughout the Process range. This I caught early and a simple piece of gorilla tape changed once every 6 months eliminates this as an issue. It is worth noting that the 150mm Pike RTC3 Fork knocks back the Head-tube angle more than ½deg with next to no effect on the BB height or climbing ability. This change is renowned amongst Process 134 aficionados as being the most significant upgrade enhancing overall capability and performance across the board from original spec Process 134’s, I most certainly agree with this. Kona says: Creating the perfect Enduro bike is an exercise in finding the perfect balance between geometry, pedal efficiency, rolling resistance, travel, weight, stiffness, durability, price, the list goes on. With our Process 134 DL, we set out to find that ideal balance. Oversized bearings for ultimate suspension performance; Low BB, tweaked leverage rate curve so the bike stays high in the travel and pedals smoothly. Shortest possible chain-stays for a nimble, responsive ride, Increased the front centre with a slack 68-degree head-tube angle, longer top-tubes and a short (40mm) stem. The result is a stiff, precise handling ride that’s stable at high speeds. With the Process 134 DL set-up as below, it is without doubt far beyond the manufacturer’s original perception of the ‘ideal balance’.
