The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly - Pinkbike Editors' Favorite Night Riding Lights
I have Outbound Lights for awhile, no doubt, the cleanest and best light system I have used. Another option that is less elegent but cheaper option is Bright Eyes. I thought performance was great, just need to deal with external battery pack and wires.

Please Don't Dumb Down the Trails
Before ebikes really took off, this has been a trend down here in Southern California (specically in Orange County) for awhile, my guess is to minimize injuries? Whatever the reason is, this has drove more cutting of trails on our own (not me of course).

Magura's Most Powerful & Precise Brake Yet: The Race Pro
Yeah me too in my quiver. The only issues I have experienced has been MC has failed on 2 bikes over the years. The internal piston seal goes and requires a full MC replacement. 1 or 2 calipers would also have a sticky piston which required a massage service to get done so they deploy and retract smoothly. Other than that, good brakes and you can find MT7 Pros at a great price. Plus, love the lever shape.

First Look: Actofive's Convertible E-Bike & Enduro Bike Concept
I imagine the point of the conversion ability is really to help them be more efficient in offering a regular (or gearbox bike) and a ebike, using the same platform. With that said, I would be interested in learning more about their gearbox bike. I recently test rode a Pinion gearbox bike and was quite impressed with it.

Pinkbike Poll: Belt-Drive DH Bikes Have Passed the Test - Will You Buy One?
I rode with a guy in France who was on a Zerode belt driven bike. I only got in a parking lot ride but got to feel the shfiting performance. It was so strange to pedal and your seemlessly in gear, all you hear is the buzz of the electronic shifter. I thought it pedaled quite well. If there was drag, it was so minimal it wouldn't feel like it was a pain to pedal around. It would be interesting to see if more bike brands give it ago. This guy climbs all over the French alps on this thing, which has some good climbs.

8 Pro Racers React to 2027 Enduro World Cup Cancellation
Enduro is probably the most relatable racing format for us mere mortals but from what I can tell, sees like it's a huge deal to get enough manpower and equipment to provide the coverage it really deserves due to how large and widespread a enduro event can be. I don't know what it costs to hire drone pilots but perhaps employ those more, as annoying the buzzing could be for the riders.

I still have my v1 Offering frame. While it is technically "retired" and thought about selling it off for cheap, I don't think I can. Even the v1 Offering is still a great bike.

This has been revolutionary in superbike road racing, everything from track day participates to the highest levels of racing like WSBK and MotoGP. Allows riders to survive some extremely high speed crashes that would have most likely ended up in some serious injury or worse. Still hurts like heck, arms/legs are still prone to breaks and fractures but at least the head/neck areas are kept more stable during violent trumbles and torso is protected.
