Results: Gracey Hemstreet & Loris Vergier Lead Timed Training at the Loudenvielle DH World Cup
My understanding and I could be wrong, the sector times are the best sectors taken over the whole practice session. Where the "Timed Run" is a riders fastest full single run. So in your example, Vali could have done those individual sectors within four or five runs, but her fastest single full "Timed Run" shows she must have stopped at some point down the track. Hence the final "Timed" position.

What We Learned From the Chaotic Qualifying at the South Korea DH World Cup
While I was stoked to see the dude riding at practice & thinking he has mad skills to take that down the super rough track. That impression quickly disappeared and he quickly became a risk and liability to all the other riders once the pace stepped up to qualifying speeds. He created a lot of accidents and held up a lot of riders. Mad props to him, but he was a safety risk to the event in the end.

Wet Weather Cancels Red Bull Hardline Tasmania: Seeding to Count as Final Results
@edspratt: Oh, but the other women had to pull out as they couldn't complete the last jump in practice, couldn't they just run around it? So was it is not an option in practice, but was an option in quality?

Wet Weather Cancels Red Bull Hardline Tasmania: Seeding to Count as Final Results
OK, so let's get to the real hard question. Does Lou win for completing the course OR does Gracie win for getting the fastest time, but not completing the course...

5 Things We Learned from the 2025 Loudenvielle DH World Cup
@iamamodel: I somewhat agree, but still its about racing, speed is king and people will aim for what's fast. I hate lycra and the look that it comes with it. The Speed suit is a creative walk around without being lycra. BUT also lets look at Le King Bruni, his pant and jersey are a close to lycra you can get without being lycra... what's the difference to the speed suit??? The 'moto-look' while stylish, is completely redundant if we want racing to the microsecond... The attempts to be NOT Lycra are I believe are a reasonable alternative. Like F1, sometimes the rules, drive adaption and development. But I agree, lets NOT return to lycra or cannonballs...

5 Things We Learned from the 2025 Loudenvielle DH World Cup
@boopiejones: It is absolutely two pieces. Technically and literally. Approved as two pieces by the UCI. But if 'onesie' turns you on it can be a onesie for just you.

5 Things We Learned from the 2025 Loudenvielle DH World Cup
Having seen the process to design and build these suits, they are very cool tech. The unfortunately the colour blocking and shape used can go wrong... Personally, I think Jackson & Ellies version needs to be burned, it is disgusting. But then for example the ones used by Asa, white rainbow version and purple kit version were cool!! The caramel shaped syndicate version is just horrific. Fox Fail sorry.

Race Analysis from the 2025 Loudenvielle DH World Cup
An excellent round of racing and entertainment. The new format delivers. The Q1, Q2 is great and removal of protection has been the best change. It all delivers risk and reward situations, heartbreak and the need to be on it all the time, by all part of the process, the rider, mechanic and teams... The only downside to the event was the Syndicate kit, holy hell, so utterly disgusting. shape and colour. The suits can work, see Asa, but I feel sorry for Jackson and Ellie. They were really bad, really really bad. Need to be burned before the next round Fox Fail on that one. Bring back 5person podiums and Pontvianne's run should have got a RUN OF THE DAY award & $500euros... or something.... legendary stuff
