First Ride: The Trek Top Fuel Gets Lightly Revised for 2025
I'm confused. What is this bike for? Is it an outright "downcountry"/short travel trail bike? It seems too porky to be a XC race bike, being that the top of the range bike is almost 2kg heavier than an S-Work Epic 8. So what do Trek riders race on the bigger more tech tracks? The Supercalibre isn't that capable.

It's Not Presta, It's Not Schrader - Schwalbe Introduces New Clik Valve
We really need to ditch Presta and any attempts to improve it. Schrader works so much better in every respect and is the stand everywhere else. Even road bikes are running wide enough rims to justify it. Please bike industry just make it the standard.

OneUp Announces New Hubs
I’m guessing that being that PON own One Up now, these hubs will used by Reserve Wheels on Cannondale, Sant Cruz and Cervelo bikes.

Elite Final Results & Overall Standings from the Leogang DH World Cup 2024
Massive well done to the Specialized boys. Great work. I wonder if people are going to question those buttons on the bars on this track. Being you needed a firm bike at the top and a soft bike at the bottom.

First Look: The 2025 Geometron G1 is More Adjustable & More Proportional
The rest of the bike industry, please take note. If you are putting the same chain stay length on the back end of a small bike as you are the Large, XL and XXL, you're bike is not relevant to any tall rider and you are just cutting corners to save money. This is why I never look at big brands for bikes.

Video: Bike Checks from the Finale Ligure EDR World Cup 2024
It looks to me like Jack McKenzie wants a much longer dropper post, as his post was dropper and was the same height as Jessie's fully extended. Come on Rockshox, even Fox now has a 210 and 240 long post.

Scott Sports Replaces its CEO in "Refresh"
@juanny: At warranties not at making bikes. Scott and Giant are all made by Giant anyway. Say what you like about Giant bikes, love them or hate them, but are good when it comes to warranty claims. I put several through for customers. They all got sorted and quickly. Even when they didn’t need to.

Scott Sports Replaces its CEO in "Refresh"
@norcohavocdirtjumper: I’ve had my AM9 since 2018 (second batch made) and I still can’t find a bike I’d want instead. Especially now I’ve put a coil shock on it. Highly recommend them.

Scott Sports Replaces its CEO in "Refresh"
@warmerdamj: I’m glad you’ve had such a positive experience. Every time I was putting a claim in for a customer, from a Scott dealer, it was always a battle and not often a satisfying result. This was as recently as 6 months ago.

One area Scott can improve, is to stop having such a terrible warranty on their bikes. I’ve worked in the industry a while and they have one of the worst warranties of any manufacturer out there. It’s just 2 years on the frame, and another 3 years if you can prove the bike has been serviced yearly by a Scott approved dealer. Any parts they don’t make, they just push you in to the other manufacturer. There are so many brands out there that go so much further and offer lifetime warranties that actually mean something. Cube, HaiBike and Scott are some of the worst, whereas Specialized, Whyte, Cannondale, Trek, Kona and Giant are much better. My personal bike is a Bird and the warranty is lifetime and transferable. This should be standard for brands.
