kids these day wear long pants, the plastic cap rips pants to pieces from the inside, I found out myself. but honestly, I have both old poc dh and the system ones, both are indestructible, and both stay on my knees when crashing. not sure the plastic cap has real advantage in real life.

But actually it's not just sharp edges, the the roundedness expends to a larger part of the breaking surface effectively reducing it when the rotos are fresh.

@phops: firstly, the axle movement doesn't really matter or bump absorption, it's the point where the tire meets the ground that matters. Secondly, you are saying that high pivots don't have any advantage at all? if they don't eat bumps better, why bother with idler pulley? I'm not selling the high pivot designs and I know marketing is mostly is a lie, but it's kind of hard to believe that all the manufacturers pushing high pivots is total bullshit without even the slightest advantage.

also wheel path. if high pivot is better at eating bumps, you can give the more support without being harsh. that's the whole deal about high pivots.
