Review: Wolf Tooth Components Resolve Dropper Post
@jdejace: 110% agree. I wish more people had the same mentality. I try to avoid China, Vietnam at all costs due to the same issues you mention above, but Taiwan, Japan, South Korea are all okay. But if I do have to option to buy locally, I'm willing to pay more for that local component over that Taiwan-made component. In the case of this wolf tooth dropper, I do see your point of view. But if this dropper performs and is made as well as my bike yoke, then I still could see myself splurging and getting this dropper. However, my one up v2 has also worked well, so it may simply come down to your personal desire/feelings. And right now I don't know of any dropper that's not made overseas. At least my Arrival that I'm building up is made in Canada :) my wallet is just a bit sad. :(

Review: Wolf Tooth Components Resolve Dropper Post
@jdejace: I am the same way...I strive to buy products manufactured in north America or Europe. I'll gladly pay a lot more for a locally made product. But I do believe there are some exceptions. I have a bike yoke dropper (also made in Taiwan), costs as much as this wolf tooth, and when I compare the manufacturing quality and finish with my one up v2, it's on a whole different level. The bike yoke is a true cnc'ed work of art, where as the one up is your run-of-the-mill bike component. And the bike yoke is just so much smoother in operation. Just because something comes from Taiwan, does it mean that it's the same quality as everything else that comes from Taiwan? Perhaps wolf tooth, which is known for their quality, is collaborating with a manufacturer in Taiwan that can produce higher quality components than other cheaper manufacturers in taiwan...hence the increased cost. Maybe the higher cost isn't simply because they say "engineered and assembled in the USA". I personally do not think wolf tooth would put out a product that's less than top-tier quality.

@ybsurf: I've had nothing but amazing customer service from we are one. And that's what I hear across the board from others about their customer service. Probably a troll made-up comment.
