No More Tiny Spacers: Shimano Finally Releases 200mm Rotors
a lot of the stamped rotors (but not all) are only rated for Resin Pad use as well, so a nice upgrade (depending on what you had) for better pad compatibility.

No More Tiny Spacers: Shimano Finally Releases 200mm Rotors
Yeah, but lets all just remember that a 28.99mm spindle diameter is a legitimate standard that needs to be preserved and respected.

Throwback Thursday: 11 Bikes Turning 20 in 2025
The Ironhorse, Specialized, Giant, and Rocky all LOOK a full step ahead of the other designs, though it was the Heckler I wanted most at the time (and for another 5 years after that).
Seeing this makes me realize that it was no a full 20 years ago that I really got into MTB as many of these bikes graced my screensavers and desktop background.

First Ride: SRAM's New Motive Brakes
@Dougal-SC: It was a Specialized P2, everything else worked fine.
Having the reservoir 'plug' just pop out under braking on the way down a 4x course was not confidence inspiring.
I've just got no desire to take a risk when my Hope, Shimano, and SRAM brakes have all been fine and never included such atrocious design choices.
And, as stated, I'm not holding the brand to any "fate"... I love their mechanical options- best value to performance out there.

First Ride: SRAM's New Motive Brakes
@kookseverywhere:
:P I feel you.
I got a bike with Hayes So1e brakes years ago... Hayes would need to GIVE me a set for me to bother/dare to try their hydraulic offerings ever again.
MX-5 and CX-5 on the other hand... excellent.
