Photos & Results from UK Downhill National Round 1
Interesting to see the Seagraves both riding LH front brakes, opposite to the typical British cockpit. Wonder if it's a hangover from their early days riding in S. France

BikePark Wales to get a Makeover this Spring
AFAIK the plan for Roots was to let it degrade naturally and get super gnarly, a bit of a change to usual dressed park trail surface. I havn't been in the last couple of months, so I don't know how much its bombed out after the crap weather, maybe they'll leave it be and up the grading

Might be part of a later phase following the mains water hookup?

The Malverns Classic Festival is Back
@pbuser2299: @T1mb0: Call me jaded, but I've been to enough campsites and festivals to know most groups who let their area get as trashed as that don't bother to clean up. In the end it's all about the riding; I don't want littering wankers putting the backs up the locals and making rides in the area liable to be trapped.

The Malverns Classic Festival is Back
I visited Eastnor last August and told myself next time I was staying in the area to take my bike, spotted a few trail lines diving off the footpath in a few places. The bottom photo saddens me though, not for nostalgia over the classic bikes, nor for the questionable 90's haircuts or the Ford Escort with inevitable gaffa tape on the bumper. I'm annoyed that people might think acceptable to leave a site in such a sh*t-hole state

Behind the Bike: The Merida One-Sixty
Who doesn't love a good nerd-out on the tools used. @haroman666: Having used Creo, Catia and dabbled with Inventor I'd agree they're ultimately a much-of-a-muchness for producing models, the differences come with the power of the bolt-on functionalities. The important thing for anyone looking to improve / get into the industry, I'd say is understanding how to build stable and time efficient models (construction geometry is your friend)

Inside Öhlins Racing - Swedish Suspension Specialists
The manufacturing nerd in me is impressed with the QA procedures and component traceability, while the mtb nerd in me is drooling over the shiny shiny Swedish beauties...

Ridden and Rated: Six Flat Pedals
When I got my bike I had the shop put on a pair of the Electrons; composite body & metal pins seemed like a winner, but they came apart literally as I rode out the shop. Turns out the entire batch they had in store were missing the nut that holds the body on the axle. Got upgraded to DMR V12s for no extra cost and I couldn't be happier; never slipped a foot on even the sketchiest rock gardens. I get your point though, my ~£50 pedals perform just as well as my mate's Vaults at twice the price.
