Photo Epic: Off to an Electric Start - Mont-Sainte-Anne XC and eMTB World Champs 2019
@kuna26: If the UCI are giving eMTB a Worlds platform amongst the XC and DH, then where's the UCI sanctioned cargo bike race on the road circuits? Utility cycling is a category that requires support for manufacturers to market on a wider platform, and arguably will benefit more people if taken up.

Weather is torrential in my part of the UK atm, this article make me want to sack off the the last hour of work on a Friday and go pet my doggo when normally at this time I'm just itching to get out on the trails

Results: Qualifying - Lenzerheide World Cup DH 2019
Atherton Racing's Inst post says she "missed out on seeding points after a crash, but nothing broken" I took that at the time as a fall in quali and expected a DNF, must have been in morning practice.

Norco Factory Team Mechanic Lewis Kirkwood Thinks Mountain Biking Could be Giving us Bad Vibrations
At least they're putting independent science behind the concepts that drive Spank's vibrocore marketing spiel. The grant to make improvements to Innerleithen is awesome, and for facilities to properly test new kit, rather than relying on snake-oil and sales patter

The British Racing Green Project - Gustav Gullholm's Incredible Custom Scott Gambler & Spark
Because Factory-team limited carbon, and why not? Stock swingarms are alu, so he clearly wants to show off the former Velosolutions team hardware

Pinkbike Poll: Who is the Most Stylish Mountain Biker of All Time?
The real poll is who people think is the 2nd most stylish; Brendog is silky smooth on a race-track, and Kade pulls the biggest whips I've seen on a bike without an engine to recover it. I think the only rider who comes close to Semenuk is Danny Macaskill, who else can get millions of YouTube views per edit?

Update Interview: Rachel Atherton - "I Didn't Want to Look Down"
@hpman83: Maybe it's part of the French national team's training? If you can smash bad jumps quickly and cleanly, when Bruni and Pierron ride tracks with actual landings, they're untouchable. It's home advantage conditioning, like how British winter slop makes for some of the best bad-conditions racers; Hart in Champerey being a classic example

The Whyte Bikes vs Rich Energy Trademark Dispute - What Happened Next?
@optimumnotmaximum: To be fair, the Sick fiasco seemed to me to be one of gross naivety and business incompetence. This guy is a straight-up crook, playing fast and loose with other people's money, simply lying when put under scrutiny, and still trying to cheat his way out of any repercussions. A cynic might say he has a successful future in politics ahead of him.
