Fox Ditches Firm Mode & Improves Sensitivity On Grip X Trail Damper
I'm in the minority of people who would like to have a fork lockout/firm mode. They're a couple punchy climbs on my lap that I occasionally get out of the saddle for and it's nice when evening is nice and tight. It feels like the energy transfer is quite a bit higher when I'm out of the saddle (oos). I have a GRIPX2 on my trail bike though and live without lock out just fine. But if there was a magic wand I could wave and add it without affecting anything else, I would. My DHX has a climb switch that I use though, on the oos climbs.

Silca Enters MTB Racing With Orbea Fox Factory Team Partnership
@Jtstar: I stripped the chain using the Silca chain stripper, with a longer duration than advertised (5min) while agitating the container the whole time. I then followed the "layering up" procedure with three applications. I did the second application after 24 hours of curing, and then the third application after a ride on the third day. After about 50 miles I did a fourth application...all with super secret. This was applied to a uncoated Shimano chain. I'm a pretty neurotic person and made sure to follow all the advice from this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/LBcowq02pXw

Silca Enters MTB Racing With Orbea Fox Factory Team Partnership
I tried Silca for a few months and in my experience it just didn't hold up for mountain biking. It got pretty noisy after 5 or 6 hours and I felt like instead of being encouraged to add more lube, like with traditional chain lube, I was actively trying to not add more drip wax because that's kinda the whole shpiel with wax...that you should be able to get 100s of miles out of it. I guess the no grease aspect was nice, but not worth the noisy drivetrain.

Why Inverted Forks Feel Better (And It’s Not Because of Unsprung Weight)
@Sethimus: Trump sucks, no doubt, orange turd...but it looks like the price for the Intend is about the same Euro or US. It's the Podium going out of states that seems to be wonk. Still...I have nothing to thank him for. Ass hat fucking prick that needs to stroke out of the presidency.

@hubertje-ryu: Podium is $2000 Thanks for the reply! The Intend is a sweet fork. Several cool features the Podium does not have.

Why Inverted Forks Feel Better (And It’s Not Because of Unsprung Weight)
In the Intend 38 article a lot of the comments were that it was cheaper than a Podium. Is that just because of Euro import fees/taxes? As a US customer, that Intend fork comes out to $2700, and that's bonkers. That's a whole ass bike...

Video: Frameworks Racing's 2025 Season Recap
Love it. Neko's work on the bike, the community he's fostered and the vibe he's got is pretty special. I also am pretty stoked for USDH in general. AG still doing good things, Dak is going fast, Luca #3, and Pinkerton National Champ.

Pinkbike Poll: How Do You Inflate Your Tires?
I thought the same thing. Clik is the obvious choice in the list if your pumps are good to go.
