Can I vote for #44 and #47? The deer crash sucked too, wiping out on the meat grinder pavement is always memorable. Also #2 High on the Hogs Sedona is always what goes through my mind before hitting that drop... haven't eaten it yet tho

How To Take Your Kids Mountain Biking Without Ruining the Fun

Great article, as a fellow dad of 3 kids (6 yr, 5 yr and 2yrs) I second all the advice given here. With multiple kids, I've found they LOVE riding shotgun and balance bikes were a game changer. Kids all are gliding at 2 and peddling around 3. No bad training-wheel habits. I always have a tow rope to pull my 5 yo up climbs when he gets tired. With one kid, we used a burley trailer, but once we had 3, the trailer just sat around, it did limit our off-roading adventures. ...the only piece of advice I'd add is SNACKS, SNACKS, SNACKS! I'll feed my kids lunch beforehand and after 30 mins of riding, they act like they haven't seen food in months.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Pinkbike Tech Editors' Preferred Handlebars

I'm surprised that after all the vibration testing, no one settled on a OneUp V2. I've had 0 negative experiences and my hands don't "carpal tunnel" as bad on long descents. Also, I'm curious if a gravel curly bar with shallow drops would be therapeutic for @Jessie-May's shoulder. Essentially the perpendicular hand position places the humeral head in a neutral position relative to the labrum. Or at least going back and forth from the bars may help in rehab.

Pinkbike Poll: Pick Your Side on Mountain Biking's Most Polarizing Topics

I was adamant about over the roll until I had kids and cats, now I'm under the roll. I was adamant about crunchy peanut butter, then I had kids who only eat smooth PB, now I prefer whatever is in the pantry. I also always drank my coffee black, but got married and now I drink it bulletproof. Still adamant about analog bikes tho, all my kiddos (so far) have learned to ride a pedal bike before 3 and love riding with dad (me).

Pinkbike Poll: What Do / Would You Use An eMTB For?

It seems like MTB is going the way of the eMTB by sheer numbers of eMTB's that are selling. I really like the open letter than No Way Hans Rey wrote last week recommending industry power standards for ebikes in general. Interestingly... I haven't observed the same uptake for e-road bikes. I ride MTB, road, gravel etc and it seems like the roadies are a little harder than the MTB crowd to convert to the "e". I asked a friend at a local bike shop what their ebike/analog bike sales were, and at this particular shop, they sell 95% analog. My LBS MTB shop easily sells more than 50% eMTB now.

Photo Story: Built, Not Found - Inside Kathmandu’s Homegrown Riding Scene

This is inspirational. I lived in Kathmandu in 2011 and volunteered for a NPO that worked with the Nepalese street kids. For those unaware, there are thousands of abandoned street kids (mostly boys) in Nepal who live downtown, in the streets huffing glue and living day to day. I would have never thought in 1000 years to build a pump track and that it would get any use. To have healthy sanctuaries and role models Nirav paving the way forward is amazing. Great article, keep up the awesome work Nirav!!!
