IMO the issue here is that although UCI keen to be PC and non-discriminatory (very laudable) but the fact remains that whilst testosterone levels may well be within the boundaries set by the UCI, the advantages a male rider has over a female rider are largely due to physiological differences....regardless of testosterone levels and that cannot be changed any surgery changing a male body to that of a female. This is not an issue of discrimination, just physiological facts! Athletics do not allow guys with spring legs to compete against ablebodied athletes...because they have an advantage! Trans people should of course be allowed to race...but shouldn't there be a separate category? Needing at least 10 riders to qualify as a 'category' ?
