Destination Showcase: Duluth & Lebanon Hills, Minnesota
Definitely a paid post, but still deserved. Would love to see a real critique of Duluth or at least BOB and DM by Kazimer or someone. I love the trail growth in MN, but it is still a relatively new sport compared to out west and other places. Most of the trails are directed towards entry-level riders, but I think soon we'll see more advanced trails popping up as the sport grows here. We certainly have the terrain for it on the North Shore.

First Ride: The 2020 Kona Process 134 CR Has a Full Carbon Frame & 29" Wheels
Curious how this compares to the Transition Smuggler. Seems most companies are now following this aggressive/mid-travel/29er trend, essentially the same trend 27.5 bikes went through a few years ago

Battle Creek is the only trail worth riding in the twin cities area if you're looking for aggressive terrain (not including Welch). The builders there know what aggressive riders are looking for. That being said, I hope it doesn't become so popular that MORC starts paving the eroded sections that make it fun. The best part about BC is that the trails don't get maintained as meticulously as Leb and the others.

Duluth Hard Enduro to Feature The First Urban Enduro Stage in the US
Agreed. Really hope they land on separate weekends next year if it happens again. Last year's Hard Enduro was the coolest race I've been apart of, but Lutsen 99er is arguably the biggest XC mountain bike event in the state. I know they're very different riding styles, but I'm sure there are others like me who enjoy doing both.
