Pinkbike Poll: Do You Have Long Or Short Legs For Your Height?
Bike companies, please make bikes with seat tubes that can be cut. That way long leg guys like me can have a bike that fits and y9pema could just trim the frame to fit his high ape index body. There was a time when this was done on road bikes, seems to me that a lot of fit issues could be fixed if mountain bike frames were made this way

@ozarksagd: Thanks for the insight, but how many of those 34x34 buyers would have bought a different size if it had been available to them? Sounds like there might be a bigger market of longer, skinnier buyers out there but they don't have the option purchase the correct size.
I'm taller and skinnier and have always bought 34x34 because that's all I can find. I would definitely buy a longer size if it was available, cool to hear your working on that

2018 Canyon Torque - First Ride
@thenotoriousmic: except that it will actually fit someone with long legs. All these new “XL” frames are perfect for guys that want an extra long size large, but the seat tubes are too short for anyone that needs an actual XL. I’m really impressed that canyon has made a bike that I could ride. I’m not trying to be rude, but I’m just tired of seeing all these redesigned bikes coming out with 19.5” seat tubes and everyone telling me I can just put a longer dropper on, it’s just not that easy. Once I got heckled in a race because someone thought I didn’t drop my seatpost, they didn’t bother to look at how tall I actually was and how much post still sticks out when it’s down.

Shipping and paypal expenses will be covered by the buyer but might be negotiated. I swapped out the brakes for Sram Guides and loved them so much that I took the 2016 Shimano XTs off the new bike and put them on this bike. They are brand new, the pads haven't even been bedded in yet. Its been a great bike and a lot of fun.
