the linkage looks like it is from a Pro Flex Fork... I do not get how the fork have to rotate forward is going to help impact that want to push the fork rearward. I do see how maybe the center to front length increasing might help to increase stability on a big hit.

Speed Goat cycles… that brings back memories. My first custom spec’ed full squish was mail ordered from them. A 2001 Santa Cruz super light in XTR grey with Z1 Bomber air with Hope Mini brakes and wheels and Race face turbine cranks, Thompson cockpit. Easton Monkey light bars. And custom engraved rotors that said speed goat. Good times!!!

Cross-Country Tech from the Pits - Les Gets World Cup XC 2019
I had some of the originals in the 90’s ....so stoked they are back. They were on my trek 8000 (yellow) bonded AL frame. They were awesome.
