Of course you can. It's really no different from any other remote lockout in that regard. The hard part is adapting the shock and fork dampers to work without a remote. Usually, they're default lock and rely on the remote's tension to keep them open. It's relatively straightforward to convert the fork's damper to a normal one (or just replace the damper entirely). The shock may be difficult.

I've always been a little confused about products like that. Surely, if the fork is at a point where it would be beneficial to use Forkboost, the fork should just get a proper lower leg service instead.

@Jmac888: I wanted to add myself as another contrasting datapoint. I do totally understand your thoughts, but I go for as much drop as possible. My XL Top Fuel has a 210 post, and my S6 Sight has a 240. I find myself wanting even more drop on both, though insertion depth or seat tube length prevents it. I wish I could make my saddle and seat tube vanish at the push of the button, but we're not quite there yet.

Hope Releases Super Short High-Stack Stem
It looks like the preload bolt is integrated, as is the top cap. So, there's no way to mount a tool. It does look like there might be enough clearance to tighten it without removing the bar though.
