I have this mountain bike shop in San Jose called Trail Head Cyclery and pretty much live for and by mtb. I have loads of fun riding anything, but given the choice you'll find me riding all mountain as I always have since growing up in Los Gatos. The class of '90 had a few young shredders on shotty bikes we thought were rad. And now it takes Bootleg Canyon to spook me on my Demo! Boy have we got ourselves some real bikes now... Come on by the shop anytime and I'm down to help fellow mountain bikers learn what they need to know based on having grown up on one and my first shop job was in an all mountain shop called Velomeister in 1991. They built all the original team bikes for Ritchey back in the day when I was just a grom. Still got my Ultra with the Frischnicht approved softride stem. Sketchy at best. I live against Santa Teresa with trails from my yard and the best wife and two boys who are beginning to rip. Can't wait to see where this sport takes them!

Video: Evan Geankoplis Slapping California Turns on the Ibis Ripmo
So rad... Ty Segall crushes this version of Loner almost as hard as Evan crushes those corners! This is Ripmo AF on carbon.

Lake Cunningham Bike Park Hosts Big Names For Final Building Phase
Right? We are trying to keep them alive. Currently we have the Yeti 4x, P.Slope, P.3, Enduro SX (what Shawn and I are riding in photos) and Transition PBJ's. We even have a demo PBJ with more 26" DJ demo bikes slated for Spring. Funny, Brian said something like "huh, seems every sick 26" in the Valley is here today..."

Bonsai!!! Loved racing that series. Think it was Todd Crutsinger who put that on... But the top trophy was a tree, and that is badass. Yeah, don't think I've ever ridden there again since those races...

2016 California Enduro Series Round 3: Toro Enduro - Recap
Well said Ian, riding there isn't terribly difficult, but going hella fast is! So loose and unpredictable in spots. More than once I found myself having trouble gauging when I would need to break for a turn due to just how fast you're going and then it dawns on you that it falls away and there really isn't any traction... Ok, a few practice laps would have really helped!
