@Mtmw: Tom from Ibis writing. Sorry if you felt shut down by the response you received. The reality is that the Ripley V4S is not compatible with 52 CL cranks. Your chainring is likely to crash into the chainstay.When we made the chance to the UDH swing arm the 55 CL allowed us to increase the cross section of the drive side chainstay and making it stronger and stiffer, but it did eliminate backwards compatibility with 52 CL cranks. Some UDH bikes can work with 52 CL cranks, like our Exie models (although the chainguide that comes with the Exie is not 52 CL compatible). Superboost cranks are generally 55 CL or greater, and should work. However, whenever you're using components that do not match the recommended specifications you should test fit to make sure that there is no interference. The big concern is making sure that the chainrings clear the chainstays. Hope that helps.
