Sep 5, 2021Specialized Stumpjumper Carbon
$3000 CADStumpjumper Expert Carbon with many high end upgrades. Suspension (front and rear), brakes, and wheels in particular have heavily upgraded. This is an insane deal at this price.
Everything's been freshly serviced (fork, brakes, seatpost, hub), frame bearings and bottom bracket in great shape. Has been serving backup duty for a while. Truly is in primo, ready to ride shape.
Great components:
- The MRP Ribbon fork won Suspension product of the year in 2017
- The Chris King rear hub is the strongest and lightest that money can buy
- Full carbon wheelset + bladed spokes. Light, stiff and strong.
- MT5 brakes are powerful with great modulation, comparable to Shimano Saints
- Fox Float CTD Kashima rear shock has received upgraded tuning from http://www.avalanchedownhillracing.com ... hugely improved
- OneUp v2 seatpost, barely used
You can ride almost anything with this bike!
Local sale preferred. Open to shipping, but buyer would pay shipping & paypal fees.

Jul 26, 2021Fox X2
$500 CADI have a Fox X2 for sale - it has been fully serviced (full teardown, 0 rides since) from SuspensionWerx, mint condition and ready to ride.
It's a 210x55 with standard mount. DT6H tune (came off an Ibis Ripmo). Bought in Feb 2020, and it's seen roughly 11 months of riding time since (winter, injuries, servicing, etc).
Semi flexible on price, but no lowballs please.

Ridden & Rated: 13 of the Best Dropper Posts
@NMK187: The OneUp needs a full disassemble once in a while - which is actually only an ~8 min job. Jamming more grease in is good, but you need to get inside the collar to really get it back to its original, slippery self. In fact, I heavily recommend doing this brand new, as it seems often it's underlubed from the factory.
Once that's done, I think it's one of the simplest / easiest to service posts around. I just bought my 4th (various bikes, GF's bike) and I'm very happy with them. Reverb/9Point8's can rot in hell.

Hope Announces Microspline Compatible Hubs and Wheels
I get that there's a bunch of folks having good luck with these, but I've personally trashed like 4-5 myself, usually with the inner drive side bearing failing spectacularly. I know of a handful of others in the same boat, always bigger guys that hammer hard on techie uphills. The pro 4 seems marginally better, but I've heard similar reports there too.
I also tend to kill Formula/Novatec too of course. I'm running over ten years in my Chris King though, good value if changing standards doesn't make it obsolete.
If this design has an improved bearing design, it might be worth a look.

RockShox's Updated Reverb Stealth Gets the Squishy Post-Fixing Vent Valve
Riding. Just because you have had a good time doesn't mean it's not a piece of shit product for a huge number of people (note how the comments here are overwhelmingly negative).
I've had 4 or so through the years, and can't go longer than 8 months between (expensive) services sessions. I have a theory that some riders can put more backwards forces on it, wearing down the (cheap) seals quicker. But I don't really know - I dropped that brand years ago, and haven't looked back.
