If I remember correctly, the trail is legal but has no legal exit. The bottom crosses through private property. I guess you are expected to hike back up if you felt compelled to.

We're taking 1st world problems to the next level... I think the chromecast might be causing your problems because it can be a bit wonky if you are trying to screen cast. And then apple products to the best of my knowledge don't play adobe flash.

I suppose my only question is why not? A dropped chain, however unlikely, would still be such a let down after months if not years of preparation. They must be pretty confident in their gear.

Risk vs. Reward man... what is a few grams to have an upper guide. I mean, I get the premise behind narrow/wide + clutch derailleur but a guide is just cheap insurance.
