Starting mountain biking at 18th with a Meta AM 2007. There was not many people on Enduro bikes / All mountain. Yes a Meta 2007 was called an Enduro. Then moved to DH with a Solid and a Demo and again on trail bike with a Slash. Today some people are dreaming from mullet bike. I was dreaming from a mullet, a specialized big hit 26/24 in 2009. I m an engineer with experience into vibrational mécanique and a good bike is a bike who are designed as a complet system.

First Ride: 2022 Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Alloy - Adaptability Meets Affordability
@edamamedumplings: yes right, had this issue. Simply but a bit grease on head set and was ok. It's coming from micro mouvement due to head cups. Also had dead frame bearings like all bikes I ever had that's because of small bearings who ovalised. I only can suggest to put bearings apart to see the different failure and engineering fail.

@stevemokan: yes, that is true. On the graphics you can see that some elevation/distance gains are somethime impossible or not possible for the trail.

Review: Canyon's New 2021 Spectral 29 CF 8.0
I have a spectral cf9.0 from 2018 and this feeling is coming from the triple phase suspension. The suspension ramp up is to harsh and on big repetitive hits the bike is overwhelmed. I ve put a dvo topaz with a min bladder pressure and a sag of 30 - 35% and it is better but climbing is affected. Hard to find the good compromise.

@landscapeben: look at the type of mechanical contact on the teeth. The tooth /belt connection is equivalent to a line that rubs on the teeth. The chain on the pinion teeth is a point that rubs on a roller.
