Opinion: Why Is Everyone Talking About Seat Tube Angles?
This. I can now clean technical climbs and feel much better on sustained climbs on my Evolink 131 than I did on an old-school carbon hardtail with basically roadbike angles. It's something like 10 lbs heavier.

Opinion: Why Is Everyone Talking About Seat Tube Angles?
I have a Pole Evolink 131 in size medium. When I first built it up I put the seat way forward and slightly angled down, and the shortest Renthal stem I could get (35mm or something.) All of which was the recommended way to set up the cockpit, and guess what? Waaaaaaaay too short for seated pedaling (and having the stem that short made the handling feel weird being behind the steering axis.) Pushed my seat waaay back, threw on a 60mm stem and boom- now it felt natural and fast when seated. Another quirk of steep seat angles: dropper length is even more important. With the seat being so central on the bike when you stand up you're above the seat, but it's no longer behind you (like it would be on a bike with a slack ST angle.) Which basically means you're using the dropper more than (at least I was) used to in moderate terrain just to have the seat out of the way a reasonable amount.

ARBR's RB2 Carbon 29er Protoype - Bespoked Show 2019
Looks killer- one issue: if you're in the lowest cog will the chain be literally riding on the chainstay? Like, in a CAD model with 100% tension on the chain it never touches, but in the real world it'll be riding on the chainstay almost all the time? Is that why it has a chainstay protector that looks to be about two layers of electrical tape thick, because anything more than that will DEFINITELY rub? Other than that potential issue, I love it. Like a xenomorph that has a Fox 36 for a toothed tongue.

Paul Component Unveils the Sierra Klunker
Direct experience- they're significantly worse than hydraulic brakes. Power, modulation, consistency- all decidedly worse than almost any hydraulic brake. Get some cheap mineral oil brakes (SLX is great,) bleed it really well once and be done with it.

Bike Check: Adrien Dailly's Lapierre Spicy
@DPoole603: "Along with Sam Hill, Adrien is one of Michelin's top enduro athletes and he is running their DH casing Wild Enduro tires. The compound on these tires feels incredible, they are ultra-soft and word is that they have been working on a progressive sidewall casing to help prevent pinch flats and provide a more stable feel from the tire" I guess it really is just down to casing secret sauce with the new Michelins. Nice to see those guys finally coming back to the fore.

Bike Check: Adrien Dailly's Lapierre Spicy
Right? That seems super low for a guy of his speed, do those new tires have a crazy supportive sidewall or something? How is he not ripping them off at the speed he hits corners?

Hard. As. Nails. Hell yes- that's super inspirational and what an awesome role model. Can't wait til my daughter is old enough to ride a bike and I can show her pictures of this.

Video: How to Manual with Duncan Shaw
I've had a few dreams where I'm manualing around my neighborhood, over cars, up hills. I remember thinking 'this is so easy, why was I having a problem doing this?' Then I woke up and tried to manual my 1600mm wheelbase evolink and cried.
