With over 10,000 dedicated cycling enthusiasts enjoying the 2011 show, The 2012 Vancouver Bike Show promises to be bigger and better with all of the newest bicycles from the industry’s leading manufactures and all of BC’s top retailers. The show will also feature cycling gear, apparel, accessories, cycling events, and bike tour destinations, all designed to offer an incredible experience for passionate cyclists.
“This year’s show will be even more exciting with an expanded show floor featuring more exhibitors and more interactive features to provide entertainment and education to avid cyclists“, noted Fred Cox, President of National Event Management, the organizers of the Vancouver Bike Show. “Exhibitors saw incredible success last year and have demanded larger space to meet the consumers’ needs at the show.” This event has quickly become Vancouver’s leading event for pre-season deals on bikes and the only place where you can see all of your new bike options under one roof.
The Vancouver Bike Show will feature new events such as the CTV Media Charity Spin and the all-new Bike Features Zone, which will offer bike maintenance and technical skill training. Plus, see the latest in cycling apparel with a daily fashion show. Don’t miss top-of-the-line products including technical gear, footwear, eyewear, women-specific clothing and protective equipment for your adventures! You will also have the opportunity to meet pro-riders including Roland Green, Wade Simmons and Dave Norona at featured autograph sessions throughout the show.
The Shimano’s Kids Race will be taking place offering young riders aged 2-10 their first chance to compete in a race and maybe even ride with a pro! The Trails Stars Bike Show Team will also perform, showcasing their “daring feats of skill” on trails bikes. This team has competed around the world and offers Bike Show guests of every age an exciting new view on cycling.
“In addition to CTV, Pinkbike is our official Online Media partner for 2012 and will conduct industry interviews in the PB Media Lounge featuring free ride legend Brett Tippie. Show visitors will also have a chance to get a gnarly (but temporary) tattoo in the Pinkbike Tattoo Parlour”, quoted Robin J. Harvey, Vancouver Bike Show Public Relations Manager.
