Kinesis FF29 Frame in Large

$120 GBP
Selling my old 29er bike frame. I rode this pretty hard for about 4 years on various MTB orienteering races around the country. Has proven to be a fantastic comfy and fast frame that rides really well. The frame itself weighs a gnats chuff under 2 kg as a bare unit and I built it up relatively cheaply into a sub 11 kilo bike that never once let me down. The frame has never been crashed, but does have a lot of paint rub/damage from a hard life and from the use of framebags to carry all my kit while racing. However, structurally, this frame is still A1. No wear or damage in the headset races and BB. I will include the headset, though I am not sure of the state of the bearings. Frame builds up as a 29er with either 100 or 120 mm forks, but I have recently run it with 2.6 650b tyres and a 140mm fork and it works just fine (see picture). Some notes about frame Rear is QR 135 dropouts 100-120mm fork in 29″ mode (I ran 120mm) Seatpost is 31.6 BB is 73 mm BSA Headset is integrated tapered Cable routing is external and 2x capable Post mount rear brake Any questions just ask. Priced at £120 for quick sale including postage, or £100 if collected from near Abergavenny (BPW, Cwmcarn, FOD, BMCC work fine for me)

Charge Grater 3

$325 GBP
For sale is a lovely Charge Grater in size small, with unmarked pearlescent grey paint (it looks a flat grey in the photos but in reality it is a more grey/purple colour like in the article linked below). Would suit someone 4 ft 10 to 5 ft 4. The reviews of this model with the Alfine hub gears are great (see below), with the only negative being the grips. These have been changed to Ergon type ones. The bike has had very little use, it really looks like new. Even the original white saddle is unmarked. I got it from a friend for my wife to use but it is a little too small for her (She is 5 ft 6) so it needs to go. Any questions just ask. Collection from SE Wales, or a meet at one of the local trail centres (South Wales-Forest of Dean) could be arranged. Postage can also be arranged at cost but I would need to get a quote on that if needed. https://www.cyclingweekly.com/reviews/road-bikes/charge-grater-3-849-99

Well done to POC for sticking a zipper on the neck. I won't buy a riding top without one.

Video: Mountain Bike vs Road - The British National Champions Face Off
If you look closely you can see my farm in the background on the Roadie aerial shots. I was up there yesterday in fact. It is only 120 m in about 3 km of climbing from the start point to the summit. They should have started much lower down to be fair. And a great advert for Madison to promote the throwing of gel wrappers on the floor too. Remind me never to buy from you again. Twits.

Pinkbike Poll: Is the DH Bike Dead?
A good friend of mine has a top 20 Strava time on the full Fort William DH course..... riding his 120mm Transition Scout. Rider over bike, every time. I honestly don't think I (as in me, a 50 year old late to the sport rider) would be able to do anything harder or more sketchy on a DH bike than I currently do on my 140mm bike. I just don't have the nerve or skill. Hence for me at least, the DH bike is dead!
