Video: Rob Warner In ‘The Whole Eggchilada’
@stevemokan: I see it as the price of admission haha gotta pay your dues to ride such a truly epic trail. It's part of what makes TWE the legendary track it is. Call me mad, but I actually enjoy the first bit, and some sections along the way. It is a serious beating on a tired body and bike though, that's for sure.

This is crazy. The porcupine single track is one of the best and coolest trails in North America. The jeep road can be a battle for sure though. Raptor Route is great, no doubt, but it's no Porcupine.

Looks interesting with all the line choice, but pretty short. I wonder want the elite men's winning time will be? They were cruising it and were at 3:50ish. Wouldn't be surprised if they go it under 2:30 or so. In the hunt with Andorra for shortest of the year.

Ditto for the elite women. Actually more pointless, not a single racer who tripped the beam is eliminated there. At least top racers who clearly had mechanicals or injuries (Nicole, Hoffman, Blewitt) aren't getting eliminated in a nothing 'qualifier'. Luckily we didn't lose any of the top men to an early flat or something stupid.

2025 Champéry Downhill World Championships Elite Qualifying Results
Can someone explain the purpose of this quali for the elite men? With the DNS's there will only be 14 actual racers eliminated from the final. Couple that with the points ranking determining start order, and this is more like a timed training exercise for the bulk of the field isn't it?
