Nerding Out: You're Measuring Sag Wrong, But That's OK
Static SAG is and will always be BS as you have to much parameters like suspension static friction that will hinder making a proper repeatable measurement. The best way for those who wants to go full nerd on the thing is measuring and setting the SAG dynamically through a datalogger. Even for the average Joe with base compression and rebound setting, it will already be night and day.

DT Swiss Closing Trickstuff's Freiburg Headquarters
@max-power: It is clear. Buy everything in China, Taiwan or other similar countries. Assemble in Poland with a fake ass mark-up so "more than" 50% of the added value is in EU so you can call it made in EU. You keep out the not so nice looking made in China label and you have your big fat margin.

Video: Are Inverted Forks Here To Finally Stay? | Pinkbike Weekly Show Ep. 17
@notthatfast: The price is not that different. Got my hands on a set of Carbon dorado MY23 for 1300euro brand new. You can hardly get a new boxxer or fox 40 at that price. I don't even talk about the Ohlins, intend and other high end brands which are in another leag price wise. They are imo best value for money fork you can get today. The only issue is the 37mm seals which there is not much option out there. But the maintenance all in all is the same as conventional forks. Personaly do not see any kind of difference with conventional forks.

Semi-Finals Moved to Qualifying Day in DH World Cup Schedule Changes
@fabsmf: Maybe more racing, but boring one. Rider do not like it due to the increased risk of injury and I think 2023 season juste showed it with the incredible amount of injuries and top riders completly out for the season. So yeah... more racing but when half of the leader board is out I don't think it makes it more intertaining.

Video: A Portrait of Thibault Laly in 'Duality'
@vbsorin: the funny thing is the dorado has this "lack of stiffness" etiquette stuck to it and considered as a con while every one is trying to reduce the stiffness by any means possible because their bikes are too rigid hahaha. I guess this was an issue back in the days but with current bike this fork is perfect.
On my side hands down the best DH fork I ever got straight out of the box. And for the price, 1k less for the top model compared to every other brands...
