Industry Digest: US Bike Imports Hit Decade Lows, eBike Classifications, Lawsuits & More
@Mtn-Goat-13: Wattage, psi, bike/rider weight, erosional impacts set aside, from a land/trail management perspective there are vehicles with motors and vehicles without motors, that is all. Carving out specific use-case exemptions just creates precedent for new user groups to bend the meaning of "motorized".

@Mtn-Goat-13: No, the MOTOR that is the issue. I don't care if you ride a 450, 250 or a battery moped, all of these devices have motors on them- therefore they are motorized. It really is that simple, no mental gymnastics required here.

Some federal land managers had the good sense to draw the only black and white separation available here: motorized and non-motorized use. E bikes are great, dirt bikes are great, but they have motors on them and should be defined as such. This is the only logical way to manage the future onslaught of electric vehicles, bikes, trikes, scooters hovercrafts etc. vying for access to public trail systems.

Shimano XT Di2 Review: Great Shifting, But Where’s the Clutch?
If you're not buying grey market bike parts off AliExpress you're blowing it. 100% satisfied with several brakes sets that I've bought on there. If they're counterfeit then someone is spending a shitload of effort and money on tooling to make precise replicas that work really, really well.
