Video: Longing for Those Summer Days

Summer days...

High temperatures, sun and long days are three variables inseparable of the summer. These three variables grouped in the same equation give most of the time the same result. A result which every mountain biker knows, likes and asks for more to reach a high dose of satisfaction..


A result which also determines the choices of the mountain bikers such as: "Where to go to ride? What day? How many times or how long to make the ride?" This result conditions the mountain biker and is vital for him.

If this result does not appear, the mountain biker suffers from it. He can reach a particular threshold of exceptional frustration and become most irritable. He thinks about the possibility of emigrating and is ready to fetch these variables very far from his home town.


This result arrives every so often so we do not realize or appreciate it completely. The famous result of this equation is: "The Summer day." You know this day which never finishes is delivered by the sun which, as if by magic, never sets.

This day of which the temperatures are so pleasant that we ride in a t-shirt 'til evening or take a break to swim in the lake between runs. This day when there are beers and bbq's to admire the last whim of the sun which makes us understand that the summer days are almost a dream in which we lie awake. These days are magical and numerous and I hope that you took advantage of them as much as you can because soon a great lady called "winter" will be here.
