Personally I see no reason to not get an Orbea Rise instead.

Movies For Your Monday - Steve Vanderhoek, Ryan Howard, Richie Rude, Elvis, & More
Vanderhoek is such a sick rider and he seems like such a chill and humble guy as well. Would love too see a mashup with Brage and Steve.

First Ride: Pivot Shuttle AM eMTB
@tom666: That's an interesting take on it. Personally I would want a full power, light weight bike with around 800w of battery. The weight of the full fat ones is off putting for me but I really like the battery life and the power going up hill. My take is that there are still some engineering hurdles to solve before we can get a full power, 800w+, 16kg ebike with a gearbox and a beltdrive. But we are getting there :)

This thing weighs 22 kg. That is way too much, Orbea can make a Rise that weighs 17 kg with a 540w battery that lasts for hours and hours, why do bike companies insist on making tak like ebikes that just monster trucks through the trails. This is not necessary anymore. You can even extend the Rise to 780w, and it rides and feels like a regular enduro bike. Keep up with the times.
