Kinesis CX Race EVO

$550 GBP
Listing my much loved CX bike for sale. Super light efficient and versatile bike. Great for trail gravel and tarmac. Previous owner set it up as a commuter/roadie, but I've used it for all season trail riding. I'd really love to keep this bike but I live in Bath which has steep hills, so I want to upgrade to disc brakes… the frame is disc compatible, but I would need to upgrade the fork, groupset and wheelset, which is sadly not financially viable. Kinesis CX Race EVO frame, size 57cm (large) SRAM rival 1x11 groupset SRAM GXP BB and SRAM crankset with 42T chainring Bontrager Race wheelset, setup tubeless with Challenge Grifo tryes SRAM Avid shorty ultimate cantilever brakes Easton carbon seatpost Aluminium stem and bars Fabric saddle (pedals not included) This is a link to the frame on Kinesis' website, however a couple of details are incorrect as they made another iteration to the model after this one: https://www.kinesisbikes.co.uk/Catalogue/Models/Crosslight/archive/CXRACE-EVO Condition is good but not immaculate. This is a used off-road bike and the cosmetic condition reflects that. Can provide more photos on request. Any questions just ask. Collection preferred. But would consider posting at buyer's expense. edit: updated photos

Transition Scout L

$1800 GBP
Up for sale is my much loved Transition Scout alloy. I was planning on keeping it for another couple of years but an opportunity too good to refuse came up and I now have a Transition Sentinel. Specs 2017 Transition Scout alloy, black, frame size large RockShox Monarch RT3 shock (125mm travel) Rockshox Pike RCT3 Solo air fork (150mm travel) X fusion manic dropper (150mm travel) Shimano SLX 11spd drivetrain Shimano SLX M675 brakes Stans Flow ZTR Mk3 rims on DT Swiss 350 hubs Maxxis minion DHR/DHF EXO Condition Everything on this bike works really well. Cosmetic condition is, as expected for a MTB of this age, not perfect – hopefully you get an idea from the photos. Forks are less than a year old and aside from some (frustrating) cable rub on the crown which doesn't affect its function are plush. (10mm more travel than stock) Shock was completely rebuilt and dropper serviced by my LBS in January. Drivetrain is working well, inner cable and chain replaced last year. All pivot bearings moving freely with no play. Wheels were built by my LBS a couple of years ago. The 350 hubs are brilliant and so easy to service (no tools). Tyres are in 8/10 condition. Brake pads were replaced last year. Notes Pedals and chain guide are not included with the sale Collection from Bath. Or I can deliver within a 25 mile radius. Any questions, let me know! Cheers

UK Bike Shop Chain Evans Cycles to Cut 300+ Jobs
@phops: if by "work" you mean - transfers vast amounts of wealth from poor to rich - incentivises exploitation of people who have to sell their labour to make a living (i.e. most people) - incentivises extraction of finite resources, causing ecological and environmental destruction Etc. Then yes, capitalism *does* work.

@cvoc: I too find it easy to justify a bad thing by comparing it to a single other bad thing, like those are the only two options!

Manitou Minute Pro forks (non boost)

$140 GBP
Recently upgraded to a 150mm Pike, so here are my previous forks for sale. Manitou Minute Pro 140mm travel Compression lockout on the fork crown (not remote – no messy cables) 32mm stanchions Steerer tube cut to 205mm Non-boost 100x15mm thru axle (included) 27.5" wheel size (for reference a 2.3 Maxxis Minion DHF fits) I've owned these from new, and they've been with me on two bikes now (both pictured) first my Dartmoor Primal HT and more recently my Transition Scout. I still have the original box, manual and stock replacement/colour match decals which you can apply to make them look new again. These are beautiful forks, gold stanchions look amazing. I look after my bikes, but I ride them too, so there are signs of wear, the usual really. But the forks are plush and in great condition. Stanchions are spotless and I never crashed with these forks (I did after fitting my new ones however… but that's a different story). I've tried to photograph them honestly and the pics should reflect the real condition. These are a great balance between being a light fork but with a decent amount of travel. The only reason I upgraded was that I had a voucher from work and found some old-new stock Pikes at an absolute steal – so I went with them to get a little more travel, and some beefier/stiffer stanchions to give me more confidence as my riding progresses. Happy to post at buyers cost. Paypal, bank transfer or cash on collection. Any questions let me know.
