Does Boost Spacing Really Make a Stronger Wheel?
Isn't the real purpose of wider hubs to space the bearings out and make room for more gears? If you look an extreme like a 10" wide hub with normal rim, you'd have a horrible wheel!

Front Lines: Klamath Trails Alliance
Awesome to hear! I went to college at OIT there back in 1990 and we could ride right from campus. Great trail system back then too. Only problem was the mud; it's the sticky kind that stops you dead in your tracks within feet.

Old School Throwback: Ride to the Hills
That was awesome! I've never seen it before. I just saw Ryan Leech at a bike show last month and he's got some mad skills! Was Dangerous Dave riding 24" wheels? Sterling Lawrence has been entwined in the best of everything visual presented about mountain biking; he's a master.
