Group Test: 14 of the Latest & Greatest Flat Pedals Reviewed
@Gilesa: I'm on some cheap ass Rock Bros on my DJer. People here might not believe it, but I like them better than the DMR Vaults that were on previously.

The fact that the tester wasn't wearing Freerider Pros *AND* the T-mac wasn't incuded pretty much invalidates any conclusion the article came to.

Opinion: The Case For Being 'Over-Biked'
I recently bought an Evil Insurgent thinking it would be my park/shuttle bike. I had an Offering as well. Turns out the Insurgent climbs well enough that I didn't feel any need for the Offering anymore and sold it. I do ride a lot of blacks/double blacks but the bike is just as fun on a flow trail. Why would I need a 'real' trail bike when the big bike does it all? If I really want minimalist I'd ride my DJer. :D

Jun 6, 2020Ibis Mojo HD4 Black Large
$3500 USDUp for sale is my 2018 Large HD4. It's been a great PNW shredder but I'm moving to Tahoe and it's a bit too much bike for the trails there. This bike has been used but not abused by an experienced middle aged rider. There are typical wear marks and minor scratches as you'd expect on an enduro bike but nothing major. Rock strikes to the cranks and paint chip in the rear linkage (rocks can get kicked in there) is the worst of it and again these are minor. It looks good and rides good! I just re-torqued, re-greased and re-loctited the suspension, no creaks!
This started life as the Ibis stock NX build. Fox performance DPX2 rear and Fox 36 Performance 160mm fork. Since then I've added:
GX cassette, much lighter than the NX
Ibis 742 wide carbon hoops laced to i9 Hydra hubs. Awesome wheels, instant engagement, great sound! This was a $2000+ custom wheelset
Ibis HiFi Carbon bar
RevGrips suspension grips
Tires are DHF 2.5 Wide front and DHRII 2.4 Wide rear
.6 inch volume spacer in the DPX2
This is a solid build that can act as either a burly trailbike or an enduro machine. I would greatly prefer to sell this local in western WA. Come by to look in person, buy it for a discount since I don't have to ship and go shred Tokul, Raging River or Tiger. I will have it professionally packed and shipped via bikeflights if needed but again would prefer it stays in the land of loam.
Any Qs let me know, happy to answer or take additional pics if needed. Not happy to entertain lowball offers or trades, I've got enough bikes. :)
