The EVO levers are a different story. They feel more like Shimano even with the longest lever. They're not BAD but very different from the ultralight action of the Tech 4.

@msmorrison: it's worth the experiment but only if you have heat management problems. The vented rotors aren't going to affect raw power at all. But in terms of heat management there's nothing better. Every brake I have ever owned has failed at one point or another, meaning the fluid overheats and the lever loses all power. This includes Shimano Saint, Intend Trinity DH, Trickstuff, SRAM. The V4 with vented rotors is the only thing that's never failed. My Trickstuff Piccola HD's are more powerful than my Hopes, but all the power in the world is meaningless if the brake fails.
