Is it a mercan thing to loudly announce when you’re ‘off trail’ or ‘down’ ?

Video: Alex Storr Tears Up the New Tech Trail at Bike Park Wales in Horrendous Slop
Looks ok and that riding is crackin but can’t see anything remotely tech - I appreciate it doesn’t really matter what things are called but is it just me who thinks tech no longer means janky/natural/difficult (and fun) and just seems to mean an odd small root on an otherwise manicured smooth flow trail ?

Aug 25, 2025Formula R1 brakes, working order, v lightweight
$30 GBPFormula R1 front and rear brakes
will need a bleed and a clean but as far as I know full working order
Been in the shed for ages but were fine when they came off the bike - levers and pistons move ok
10-15yrs ago these were the lightest brakes around - real weight front 207g and rear 250g inc hoses and pads
hoses 82cm front, 145cm rear
might need a fettle but should work ok - as I can't guarantee I'm selling cheap
cheers
