I sent my RXF36 air fork to Ohlins to get a complete service because it was long overdue. As luck would have it, the fork arrived at Ohlins just before the recall was announced so no service could be done to it nor could it be returned to me until the recall situation could be approved by the cpsc. My bike just hung in my basement for about 1.5 months without a fork. I wasn't upset because I realized that sometimes things just don't go like we want them to and that no one (or company) is perfect. Once the recall solution was approved, they began to service my fork but they found some issues inside the damper . There solution to the problem was to replace my beat up, scraped up, almost 2 year old fork with a brand new one at no cost to me. No complaints about Ohlin's customer service from me. I certainly appreciate them standing behind my fork. OhlinsMTB - since my fork is brand new, is there any chance the upgrade is already installed? I did notice that it does have the blue SKF seals. Thanks again!
