There's a Fine Line Between Clever and Stupid - Opinion
@rwb500: no, you’re only measuring how far your saddle is from your stem.

@Tmackstab: nah, an XXL Yeti would still be to small. Many thanks to Santa Cruz for doing XXLs in some of their bikes for many years!

Knolly Moves Entire Lineup to 157mm Spacing
@Catch22: pay attention to the industry and you’ll realize that they’re trying to do both.

Knolly Moves Entire Lineup to 157mm Spacing
@KNOLLYBIKES: show me the research that details the "need" for increased stiffness. This is must marketing spew if you can't prove it. Most rims manufacturers are trying to soften up the feel of their rims so you're going on the wrong direction IMO.

Totally agree with you. I’m very near the upper end of height and weight for a rider and I’ve never had an issue with a well built 12x142 rear wheel. I have no doubt that this increases wheel stiffness but it is absolutely not needed. Poor move Knolly.

Bell Sixer Helmet - Review
I think the red makes the visor look goofy. The full black version looks much better. I also don't like having a coloured visor in my line of sight. Black visors all-around please!

SRAM's New DUB Cranks and Bottom Brackets - First Look
@seraph: Have you weighed a Shimano steel 24mm steel spindle and a SRAM 30mm aluminum spindle? The Shimano steel spindle is actually lighter and plenty stiff enough. Srams GXP spindles are stupid heavy though. Sram is claiming that the 30mm aluminum spindle is lighter than a 30mm steel spindle and their 24/22mm GXP spindle which is correct. All in all, an XTR 1X setup with an aftermarket ring weighs 20-30g more than a comparable XX1 Eagle setup but is far more durable (the number of failed Sram carbon cranksets is astounding).

Problem is, they caused the mess in the first place so don’t give them credit for “simplifying”. There was never anything wrong with a 24mm spindle.
