Zerode Shares the Details Behind Developing their New Katipo Gearbox 29er
I've tested the Taniwha before, and to be fair the grip shift is actually pretty good, better then I was expecting. You do have to unload the drive train a little to change down gears but it's not an issue after 20 minutes of getting used to it. Overall all tho it changes gears faster then a conventional derailleur set up, and changes without pedaling. If I was to get a new bike it'd would likely be a Taniwha (money permitting), I don't ride clean/smooth/boring enough to keep my derailleur out of harms way.

6 New DH Forks For 2018 - Video
@LukeBurgie: I know Manitou used to have an awful reputation and I unfortunately had the misfortune of owning a 6-way swinger once. But after bending the stanchions on two pairs of boxxers and having multiple issues with build quality particularly machining tolerances, I got a pair of Dorados. After 4 years I haven't been able to kill them! Iv trouble with some oil weeping from the damper side seal, (I just top up the oil level to the correct height when needed) and the axel can be a bit of a pain to torque up. Otherwise I'v hammed them every year from Morzine, Chatel, Champery, Lousã without problem. Iv twisted them multiple times in bad crashes but just re-torque the crowns and axle and you're good to go again. Only done 1 full rebuild (all seals/o-rings). If I had to buy new forks in the morning I'd get another set of Dorados, Iv also Pikes and Mattocs currently and tbh prefer the Mattocs.

Results: EWS 2016, Round Three - Ireland
Savage result for Greg , some achievement twice in a row. Bit surreal to see his name above Sam Hill !. Even for a "Jack'een" Greg is some man, for 1 man.

Great vid! seemed to recognise more chatel than morzine lol. Serious credit due for hitting the big stuff, never mind the last drop total epic!
