With the contest season fully underway, the Sensus team is off to an early dominance of the FMB World Tour Gold Events.

Brandon Semenuk and Cameron Zink finished 1st and 3rd this last weekend in France at the Chatel Mountain Style on one of the most bitchin' courses of the season. A mix between a traditional slopestyle contest, a downhill race course and Rampage, Chatel brought out a different crowd of riders and bikes. More details inside,

Most riders chose a larger travel freeride bike with the suspension soft enough for the technical sections, but not too soft for the 36 foot drop at the top. The heavy rain made the course nearly un-rideable and caused the contest to be decided by just one run of the finals. In the end, Sensus team riders slayed two of the top 3 spots.

1st - Brandon Semenuk
2nd - Darren Berrecloth
3rd - Cam Zink

26 Trix is known as the biggest and most "Mountain Bike" contest of the many dirt jump comps that keep popping up. It's no wonder seasoned vet, Cam Mccaul took the win with "The delicate genuis," Brandon Semenuk taking the number two spot.

1st - Cameron McCaul
2nd - Brandon Semenuk
3rd - Martin Söderstöm

Words just really can't describe how frightened just looking at that massive drop in the first pic makes me. Like....that's just completely insane. That has to be damn near 40 feet from the lip of that to where he lands. I'm just shaking my head in awe. The fact we can do things like that on a bike.....

No doubt, I actually fell over and had a fit on the ground. That is just bonkers, and with a single crown too! Then again, I'm surprised we didn't see a back flip off of it, some guys these days eh.

anyone else go to it? i was lucky enough to be there and that drop is 11.5m!!! nuts man, no one would hit it until the final day as it was too windy and they were scared haha! bloomin rain ruined the afternoon of both days Frown so only got one final run in. there was quite a lot of bad feedback from the rides this year, with the course being so steep any little bit of rain made it so slippy that it was a struggle just to get down never mind pull any tricks, and once it rained the course didnt draig out very quick at all Frown
