Rocky Mountain RMX Special Edition Stealth - Matt Black - Sm

$1300 GBP
Hi guys, welcome to the reluctant sale of my one off RMX SE... Rocky Mountain stopped producing the RMX back in 07, this was one of the last frames of that year. This bike took me 2 years to actually finish building, costing just under 3 grand, im hoping to make some of that back =P I've only decided to sell due to my recent car accident, which involved flipping my beautiful MK2 Golf GTI, it really has been gutting, losing the love of my life... Anyway, I have a folder full of receipts for this build which will be included in the sale. Most of you should recognise the high spec parts but i'll list everything, here goes: FRAME & SUSPENSION Rocky Mountain RMX SE Stealth Frame - 16"/S - Matt Black With Custom Yellow Decals - 83mm BB - 12 x 150mm Axle Marzocchi Roco WC Rear Shock - 222mm i2i - Preload, Rebound, HSC, Air Adj. Diverse Ti Coil Spring - 300 x 2.75 Stroke (I weigh just over 9st, for a guide) Marzocchi Bomber 888 RC2X Forks - 200mm/8" Travel - Soft Springs Fitted - Oil Change With New Seals - Custom Matt Black Lowers With Yellow Decals COCKPIT Marzocchi 888 Direct Mount Stem - 31.8mm Clamp Nukeproof Warhead Bars - 770mm Width - 31.8mm OS Clamp ODI Yeti Grips - Yellow Shimano Saint Rear Trigger Shifter - 9 SPD Selle Italia OX Seat - Yellow FSA Pivotal Seat Post - 30.9mm Width Rocky Mountain Quick Release Seat Clamp WHEELS & BRAKING Mavic Deemax Front Wheel - 26" - 28h - 20mm Axle - Yellow Mavic Deemax Rear Wheel - 26" - 32h - 12 x 150mm Axle - Yellow Sixpack Rear Axle - 12 x 150mm - Gold Maxxis DHF Minion Front Tire - 2.7 Width - 2 Ply 60a - Tubed Maxxis Ardent Rear Tire - 2.6 Width - 60a - Tubed Shimano Saint Front Brake - 203mm Ad. Shimano Saint Rear Brake - 180mm Ad. Aztec Wave Rotors - 203mm F / 180mm R DRIVETRAIN Shimano Saint Crankset With Saint BB - 165mm Arms - 34T Single Ring - 83mm BB E13 LG1+ Chain Guard Bash - 32-36T Taco - ISCG Nukeproof CroMo Flat Pedals Shimano Saint Rear Derailleur - Short Cage Shimano Saint M810 Chain - Quick Release Link Shimano Saint M810 Rear Cassette - 9 SPD I think that's everything, sorry for the in depth description, I know you guys know your stuff! But as you can see, I spent a great deal of time and money building this and I want it to go to someone who will use it properly as i've never really got a chance to because of where I live (flat cornwall =/). You can count on your hands the amount of times this bike has seen the dirt, i've used it more on the road around my village to be honest, check the pictures, minimal wear and tear, still the orginal tires since finishing the build. Apart from some very minor surface scratches as expected on a DH bike, the only thing id like to make clear is that the high speed compression side of the 888 has gone stiff and doesnt seem to want to re-adjust. Thankfully it's set up correctly at a happy medium, so i've never looked into it. The bike will be on ebay for a week as this does have to go in the next week or two, though im still happy to make a sale through Pinkbike. Also forgot to mention, ive given the bike a good 3 day service, cleaning each and every bolt thread, to regreasing bearings etc :) Any questions guys, please let me know by leaving a comment, pm on here or on 07772611539 via text. Thanks for your timeand any interest, all the best, Callum

Is the Raw finish the same as chrome black?? 36.5lbs is great bud, but you can tell by your choice of parts you havent skimped out on the funding side of things :P I currently have a Rocky RMX with the whole saint range and that still weighs 42lbs! I've never had chance to ride a CCDB before, surely you cant feel too much difference between say, a marzocchi wc with ti spring lol? I guess by the dual front ring you'll be doing some uphill too huh? :)
